Honestly, having Goro murder people in cold blood was a little much, even for Atlus. Persona has always focused on teen characters who do ridiculous shit but while I understand Goros motivations and reasons behind doing, I don't understand why they wrote that in. It'd make more sense to simply have him be a wild card using his powers the wrong way because he had no support system or bonds rather than having him to basically all the dirty work for maximum angst and evil points. He's a fucked up kid but no way could he be that good of a killer even with his police ties.

As much as I like him and feel bad for him, death was the only thing he had left. Sympathetic or not, he still killed people. His death was pretty much the only choice he was ever able to make for himself in his life.
