Mac Walter was a lead writer in ME2/ME3 and the project director of Andromeda. He is generally held in low regard in circles like this for his part in some of the more questionable bits of writing in those games. His comments in interviews show he heavily favors the two asari squadmates, Liara and Peebee, and this probably has much to do with them getting disproportionate screen time compared to everyone else. As this thread generally disliked Pebee (in various polls about the best waifu she usually gets literally 1-2%), it became a meme/running joke in the pre-release days to insinuate that anyone saying something positive about Peebee is actually Mac Walters posting anonymously, trying to get people to like his blue waifu.
