Pick one plane or a couple of planes and stick to them. I own every not-a-trainer module in DCS, but I only fly like three or four regularly (and two of them are so simple, systems-wise, that I can have them in the air in like three minutes anyway). I'll kinda just cycle in and out modules as I feel like it, but I keep a few I'm competent in.

Also I mean for real most of the planes are simple enough that you can blunder your way through a cold start and remember how to work shit pretty quickly.

I'm fine on asphalt, any loose surface and the game becomes excessively punishing for me. I just started playing this shite, maybe I need to find a car that clicks for me. It's frustrating as fuck, why did they make it fuck you in the ass so much

what are you driving right now? personally i find the bmw m3 and the kadett to be fun to drive after you learn to dorifto. im staying as far away from lancias as i can since theyre cars for absolute madmen

you need about a feather's worth of weight on the throttle to spin the stratos, and after so much frustration i just switched to the kadett for that category. haven't tried the 037 yet

this is my first rally game so its pretty fackin difficult for me still. i found the tutorials to be pretty helpful, especially the ones on weight transfer and throttle management. but all in all, the final protip is ... just stay on the road bro. be urself bro. but no really, go slowly until you learn the track. the trick is to get as few penalties as you can by driving conservatively until you learn the car and the track which really defeats the purpose of rally, but whatever senpai.
