I don't like feeling more worried than excited for new updates and I hope that feeling goes away soon.

I feel the same, the main problem I had with it was Asriel going "How about we not" and Chara barely argues with it.
Apparently Frisk is really dangerous and can cause serious harm to Asriel/Monsters and Chara who was all for getting rid of the threat just decides not to.

This is merely business for them and they are obviously willing to kill Frisk so it seems odd for Chara to have a sudden change of heart.

I think that the thing is that Chara knows that Frisk isn't all that dangerous. But they hate humans and therefore Frisk, so they embellish the danger Frisk poses so Asriel will let them kill them.

I don't think it's a change of heart to be honest, I'm pretty sure Chara's still more than ready to stab a child, they just follow Asriel's whim for now. I'm kinda wondering if Chara has either some other plans or some ulterior motives at play behind Asriel's back, but it's still too early to say. The fact that they called Muffet to a rendezvous, but were also supposed to be dining with Asriel is kind of suspicious.

Point is that Sans is the only character that could stand up and beat Sans. He may have gotten lucky once or twice but that doesn't account for shit when Sans beats him 9/10 times. Just compare how much harder it was for Chara to kill Sans then it was for Chara to kill Flowey. Not even a contest

Asgore and Toriel could just be old now.
You could be right about the ulterior motives.
I could see Chara promising Asriel that they'd take Frisk to New Home to meet Asgore and Toriel, but they're actually taking them to Muffet for another more sinister reason, which gets put on hold because no-one can resist Frisk's charms.
Also I have an eerie feeling the other "un-saveable" character will show up at some point, but whether it's in the normal way or not I'm still unsure.

Sorry I've been off my game recently. I'm on top of both Muffet tags but I need to catch up on the Undertale tags.
They are full of Chara, Frisk, Sans, the occasional Asriel, bad art, lewds, and the spectrum of AUs for each so they are a bit tedious to go through and get those gems.
or I'm a pansy compared to everyone else here who browses Pixiv.
Pixiv users also do a thing called an "Undertale Logs" which are usually collections of high quality Undertale images.
I never posted images from the logs because the images almost always come from other websites and its common for them to even date back to 2015.
and last time I used one I was called out on it.
I figure since the spiders have unfortunately slowed down it wouldn't hurt to try my luck with those collections.
I'll probably say it's a possibly fresh spider from the web if I use one from a log.

The "other websites" are usually twitter, and you should always try to save the pixiv versions of those images because pixiv doesn't compress images like twitter does.
