He was trying some different decks and ran into back to back midrange shadows.

Since the decks he was running don't have as much board clear as, say, dragon, he got overwhelmed and lost alot.

He gave up and decided to fire up some Monster Hunter.

/svg/ banlist homebrew when? Ladder isn't fun and isn't going to be fun even if we get nerfs, because the old cancer decks were never addressed and just replaced with new cancer. The cards I had fun with in this game still exist, the meta just doesn't allow playing them. This game and this general isn't going to last long if people just do their dailies and log off because ranked is shit and there's no private match culture.

People complain about the hard win conditions, but I think Enhance is a pretty understated problem too. It just makes deckbuilding way too easy when you have cards that are both efficient earlygame AND lategame.

Banlist will literally turn into "let's make very craft shit by banning all the good stuff they have"
For example, why the fuck would you play Sword if Albert, all the Storm and Rush followers, Luminous Mage, Fangblade Slayer and Floral Fencer were banned? Literally turns into a shitcraft 100 to a 0 real quick.

It wasn't always that way. In Standard I played all the way till DE came out for fun alone. Then Seraph and Tempo Elf happened.

Out of all those cards, Albert is probably the only one that people actually complain about. Even Luminous Mage doesn't get that much shit (although she very much deserves to, it just goes to show how broken Albert is in comparison)

Sword was good when it had none of those things and nobody complains about Fencer.

Playing 7-8 games per day for dailies is enough for most casual people. If they enjoy it, they'll continue playing, and if they don't, they'll simply just quit.
