According to Soejima's comments in the official design works, Robin Hood doesn't actually seem to be a random Persona Goro picked up so much as just a second one he gained somehow. His design very specifically draws from Goro's own image of a hero, incorporates a logo like the kind Goro has on his attache case, and is supposed to give a sort of "look at me as I perform a good deed!" kind of feeling/impression (rather than that of someone who acts purely for society's sake).

Futaba's observation is in line with that too, since she notes that his two Personas seem to represent his lies (Robin Hood) and resentment (Loki) respectively.

Robin Hood's design is what we see, and there's no reason to assume the concealment/outfit-changing ability works on another Persona (whereas we actually see it in effect for Goro - note how his real outfit briefly flickers when he's losing his temper during his tantrum).

And again, Soejima's own comments make it clear Robin Hood's design ties to Goro's personality the way any other Persona also ties to their summoner's personality.

I wouldn't call him self-proclaimed when plenty of other people consider him one. It's his job, not something he calls himself.

There's plenty of examples of his reasoning/inference skill in the game - for starters, pointing out that Joker's group and the PT have a significant amount of things in common with the PT based on the profiling work he's done by then, or a good chunk of his actions in the casino arc (the party wouldn't even have made it to the treasure if it hadn't been for him figuring out a way to counter Sae's cheating from extremely early on).

Let's take that whole Christmas Cake thing as an example. "A woman is like a Christmas Cake, nobody wants it after the 25th."
That is a concept so completely and absolutely alien to me and anyone around me that I cannot accept that into my own set of values.

Robin Hood is a little fucked too. I feel like it represents Goro feeling like he's stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. The rich being literally everyone else in the world and the poor being himself, though.

Also it's a humanoid robot based off a gentleman thief that fits the theme of a main crew persona, that is eventually superseded by a Trickster God, similar to the Second Awakening of every other party member or Arsene to Satanael. I feel like it's his for sure.

Your comparison would be valid if he only went around telling people he's a detective. Goro has actual detective work under his belt, not just self-made claims, and that includes more than just the cases that got him to fame.

Robin Hood isn't supposed to be robot and that's not what he represents. If anything, he's a manifestation of the act he puts up combined with his desire for recognition/acknowledgment, going by Soejima's comments.

12/22 is the last day you can do anything with no restrictions, so yes, you get a little more time after Shidou Palace (even if you complete it late).

Depends on what you mean by "time". After Shido's Palace is over you can't really do any SL-related stuff anymore, but you'll be able to grind to your heart's content and fuse a bunch of shit.

Persona 5 bucks the cake thing by letting small boy Joker get into the pants of anyone older from his teacher to the local shady doctor though, plus a journalist and a fortune teller. And none of them really bitch about their age, in the case of Kawakami it's more of a social status thing and her being concerned about how pretty she is at one point.

I think the only nod to the concept is the SIU guy giving Sae shit, telling her to look for a husband. And that guy's a jackass. The game is very supportive of cakes.

Much like how lolicons are a minority in Japan, so too are guys who refuse to marry women older than 25. They're just something we see in a lot of anime and games so we take it as commonplace, when it's really not.

Now, one aspect of Japanese culture that IS real and that's an example of conservative fogies refusing to change their minds is the idea that as soon as a woman marries, her career is over as OF COURSE she is going to be focused on her family instead, so married women often end up getting pay docks or getting fired.
