High level ore doesn't sell all that well on Balmung unless you get the folklore nodes. Concentrate on getting to 6 for now and selling the hidden ores you find on the MB. Once you're 6 and have adequate gear, head into the diadem for unspoiled nodes and scrip farming. This should fuel your crafters. Pure gathering doesn't make much on its own unless you're geared to the teeth and stay on top of it.
