During Deus' second phase, how do you avoid the waves of roots that sweep all the way across the arena? I tried just guarding, but maybe I'm facing the wrong way?

for the first wave run to centre front, there's an area with no roots, second wave run to the back for the same thing. or you can step/roll through it, I remember I could guard it as well

I find the hitboxes are very strange on a lot of his attacks in general. I know I'm getting the timing right on tech parry but shit will still hit me anyway... sometimes. Sometimes it blocks totally without a hitch too. It might have something to do with the direction I'm facing and where the attack is actually originating from?

Safe spots are different every time. Look for an opening. If you can't find it, just step through it.

I'd be willing to bet on that, the ex runs I've done are obviously worse than the organized ones but I've yet to see one fail, also of note, the dps check seems to work out ot about 100k mpa dps (which is fucking nothing even with how much the shitlord likes to hide his tumor) with all my closer runs bordering about there

The final phase is 30m health. It's not a lot but if your MPA is full of people using leecher tier gear, playing their subs for exp and 1/3 the MPA is on the ground at all times, you can't carry it solo. I've done 13m on the final phase and still failed, though this was outside expert blocks because I missed the top of the hour.
