I never really got the attraction to those kinds of setups. Feels like at that point the characters' situations are so different they're practically entirely different people.

The fish thread likes it, apparently. I think the attraction is that you're taking the characters and putting them in different situations so that you can watch them react to things they'd never otherwise get to deal with.

It's been bugging me ever since I finished UT. Basically, since he already died, Flowey seems to be kinda a reanimated corpse and all.

I dunno, normally I consider him the original or as-good-as since you can draw a direct line to pre-death Asriel through his essence on the flowers. You could probably justify him being a duplicate if you tried though.

No, Flowey is not the original Asriel. The original Asriel's consciousness was lost upon his death. Flowey was a mixture of organic matter, Determination, and Asriel's memories. Flowey can be seen as a continuation of Asriel's memories, but he is not the "original" Asriel.

What part of the 2015 hit independent RPG "Undertale" do you hope other games would copy or otherwise do in an expanded way?

I really would like to see more mixing turnbased combat with other forms of gameplay beyond the typical Paper-Mario styled QTEs.

It mostly has Az' as a deuteragonist. Frisk's the star of the show.

The main comic is relatively inoffensive, with a bit slow overall pacing because of the webcomic format, and a couple of somewhat stupid ideas (mainly how Asriel is restored via soul-fragmenting, though offset this time by the fact that there are repercussions).

The side comics are basically an enthusiastic content creator having fun with other AUs, possibly some with whose creators they're friends with. Basically Sliders, starring Frisk. Unless you mean the ones where Toriel and Asgore got together again and had another kid, but that'd be a really spergy thing to throw a fit about.

Sure I can bitch about anything, I just don't see anything so far off track to complain about.

I don't know much about the side comics though aside from the offshoot where Asriel gets biological sister, and even then it's Dreemurr Reborn levels of cuteness so I don't mind.

If Asriel is saved and if Asgore is going to be hanging around then Chara should be saved as well. Its bullshit to save one over the other

Not to play too deeply into devil's advocacy, but since this is Post-TP but from a near completed Genocide run, wouldn't Chara be nearly insane from the outside influence? If we're going by that perspective, to save Chara.
