The protagonist should be a rich kid who is suddenly orphaned with most of his family fortune lost. Just like how Yu was the inverse of MC by being a city boy in a small town, P6-kun should be the inverse of Joker by being a sheltered kid who led a life of privilege and pampering. He's attending a fancy private school, which provides a nice contrast to the settings of the other games while still keeping the high school theme.

Story should surround a mysterious cult that's rumoured to perform human sacrifice and leave mutilated bodies scattered across town. Nice mix of the murder mystery from P4 as well as the dark religious stuff from P3. Protag discovers an alternate reality through playing a bizarre musical instrument he found in a dusty old attic or somewhere.

Social links include the protagonist's old-fashioned grandmother as guardian/Hierophant, a poor scholarship kid as Magician, a very proper Nanjo-type as Emperor, and a weird but cute bug monster girl as the mascot/Empress.

yeah, a lot of people give ship shit for the mazes, but after the first time through, they are really quick on future playthroughs. The minibosses also help. Spaceport is the worst probably because it is just too long, and unlike bank there is no way to shorten it.
