I'm humorously exaggerating. My understanding is that Nagash deeply fears that which he does not control, and so seeks to eradicate all sentience besides his own to remove all uncertainty. He's very paranoid of other people and constantly expects betrayal, and so decided that he could only be safe if everyone was dead.

Well, that was my only one, so I guess that campaign's done. Estalia done diddled me. I wanna give Durthu/elves in general another try, they're pretty fun once you get the hang of it. They can 'occupy' any settlement, right?

Yeah they can outpost anywhere. I like the Durthu start more, since you get forest spirit units with no amber cost, and you are right next to Skarsnik and Karak Norn for early game battles.
