Been playing modded Terraria and more recently reached Post-Moonlord content. Calamity mod has some fucking obnoxious shit like Profaned Energy that spawns practically everywhere. How do I make this shit stop?

I think it would a lot more entertaining (if kind of useless otherwise) if corruption and crimson could both infect each other, so if both areas met, the edge would become a constantly changing random mess of both

Corruption and Hallow actually used to behave like that in 1.1, and I loved it. I let my entire world get infected with the hopes of seeing if one would eventually overpower the other. Hallow ended up winning the surface, but 1.2 came and removed that feature before the underground ever got anywhere. You can still see this behavior in desert background walls though, for some reason.

As for interactions between Corruption and Crimson, it was always my wish that they would end up merging into an inert, but more dangerous amalgamation that spawned it's own enemies and bosses.

That actually reminds me of another one of those Create-A-Terraria type ideas I once saw that has unfortunately been lost to the mists along with the old forums. The basic gist was that it was some post-endgame stuff where you craft an item to initiate the end of the world. Doing so would spawn an encroaching biome like the hallow or whatever that would infect nearly everything and spawn very nasty enemies, but would eventually stabilize into ash and silt. What this would mean is that as this wave of decay spreads from wherever it ended up spawning, the world will become increasingly dead and lifeless, with wood and stone rotting and becoming useless, caverns collapsing under the weight of silt, and eventually the only things spawning being ash ghosts and things like that. To cap it off, there would've been very little music in the biomes created by that spread, and what music was there would've been droning and unpleasant to really drive home the point that you had brought ruin unto the world.

Can dungeons be bigger the bigger the world is? I've always done small and medium worlds, I'd just create them to explore the dungeon to get water candles and statues, but this medium world I'm actually playing on, the dungeon is massive.

I've set down 300 blocks of Ebonstone and 300 of the Crimson equivalent in different sections of my dungeon in hardmode, but enemies aren't dropping souls. I read in the wikia that it should work, was it patched out sometime?

Well that was a dumb idea, I got raped repeatedly, half my people slaughtered too. Allowing that event to happen so soon after moving to hardmode is bullshit, at least until I figured out you can camp behind a wall with a single open space and shoot them through it. Fuck those pirates with guns tho.

How do I make yoyo's more viable? currently i'm running the best yoyo i've found so far and the yoyo bag but I was just wondering if there's any other items that synergize with it

Try those dice-looking items the Traveling Merchant sells; they add hits to every throw of a yo-yo. Also try to "reforge" them to get better item prefixes.

I found yo yo's got a lot better after the wood one. They started having range and staying out for more than a couple hits

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, there's an item you can craft (from silk, I think) that extends the range of your yo-yo.

When does expert mode summoner become fun lads. I'm using full Tiki armor and deadly spheres and it still does jack dick for damage. Should I get spooky armor or just go mage?

Is there a difference between large worlds vs medium worlds beyond just.. "size"?

What I mean is: does a LARGE world actually have significantly more "content" (ore, temples, sky islands, chests, hives, king-trees, etc..) or are they simply stretched out over a wider area- if that makes sense.

I've been getting more and more used to medium-sized-worlds after 2 play throughs and I've been finding a medium sized world can at times be too small for the villages I enjoy housing my npcs in and a lot of the time the biomes usually don't create large enough natural lakes for me to fish in and build fishing decent fishing huts over.
