i was thinking about starting a youtube gaming channel. it's very easy to do and you just have to be interesting and funny, which i think i am.
it looks like an easy money grab, give one reason i shouldn't, i just to need to buy a gaming desktop

cos its pleb as shit?
I made this years ago and it's not like you imagine it to be. Maybe you are good and funny for a week but what then? You have to post a fucking video every day to not lose subscribers and get enough money. And this gets you fucking depressed over time. It's as hard as a real job and you won't probably be making money at all. But do what you feel is right.
Market is full as fuck
Dont fall for survivors fallacy
i know the market is full as fuck but i feel people might like me
i live in a poorer country so if i made 20K a year that should be enough to live off
Nobody watches people from poor countries. Look at all the popular channels and see that they are all from rich countries. Have fun OP.
I hope you fail, badly.
Nobody wants another talentless piece of shit, recording their ugly ass face, while playing a fucking video game.
Go get an education, learn a trade, and work a noble job and contribute to the economy of your "poor" country.
This is true, but OP speaks english, so he can get a western audience with a high CRM.
well i an hoping i can capture audience from english speaking countries
why are you so mad?
my shit country has a system designed to make every one that works hard fail. getting an LLC business takes approximately 6 months to establish, our politicians rob from every place they can and anyone with a good skill leaves the country, we are just waiting to die
lol you are going to burn out my man. try it and see if it works out.
just try it OP, if you fail who cares, it is oversaturated but who knows how good you really are, we can't know that until you try it
and it is not like all that gear will go to waste, you can still play or use it in educational purpose
What gave off the impression that I was mad?
I have nothing to be mad about, I'm sorry you live in a shit hole, but a fucking YouTube channel isn't going to dig you out.
I feel like an asshole for saying this, but in "poorer" countries, there is a reason the crime rate is so high, and its becasue of a combination of the ideologies you hold about your government, and a lack of money.
You have both those things, so seriously, why not turn to crime?
nobody wants to hear poor people talking, kids who watch youtubers want to see a life of excess and you don't live in that world, you won't have the ability to gain their interest
hope not lol
thanks for the motivational words, appreciate it
financially my family is pretty stable and i am getting a degree currently so i dont really complain for myself i just feel bad for the people in general.
about the crime thing, as i said my family is considered "rich" by peoples standard here and i dont need money desperately enough to turn to degenerate ways like crime, even though i was considering getting into a drug trade i had opportunists
maybe i made it sound like i am poor but i am not, i just live in an eastern European country, but my parents made a lot of money by working in Qatar. i can afford traveling and eating out and shit but i cant afford a Ferrari lol where do you draw the line between excess and normal ?
Don't pay attention, most people here are cucks.
You're in a nice position, labor is probably dirt ship where you are and you know language + market. Also, we trust you more than chinese or indian.
Youtube and gamer channel is a shit idea but there are tons of other opportunities
You really have to be dedicated if you want to do YouTube. Don't do it only cause of the money, that's stupid. You have to like it.
If you're actually serious about making a Youtube channel and are actually interesting I am willing to help you out and market you.
I am currently doing online businesses that gives me good amount of side income (Soon will be leaving to do it full time) and would love to work with Youtubers.
But I won't do this in the kindness of my heart. I'd like to get a piece of the pie as well.
Learn to draw.
Start a Patreon.
Get paid for drawing naked anthropomorphised animals gayfucking each other.
Get paid even more for commissions.
Way more money than Jewtube.
Not all of us want to be furry porn artists user
Thats my plan
Gf and I fill a niche market, plenty of betabux available.
Patreon is the way
Anyone who even thinks about making money playing video games should get gassed the fuck out, even that neurotic cuck of piwepie saw how fucking beta that shit was.
Now don't get me wrong if you actually make it and built an audience I swear I'll suck your Mongol dick cus you'll be nothing but a drop of piss in an septic tank of shit an vomit, everybody and their fucking dog wanna make money doing nothing but sitting around shoving Doritos up their ass and playing Pokemon go.
I have no problem with people doing money of Jew tube but at least be fucking original.
I'll tell you what, you'll build a huge and faithful audience if you do at least cringe worth videos like those whores they parade on /pol/ all the time.
Do something but for the love of fucking god don't waste your time playing stupid games, specially for an audience
this seems legit and i dont mind selling the fuck out. how long will it take until i get gud?
>seriously wanting to draw fetishes you despise for cash
Because you will be asked to draw fetishes you despise no matter what they are. It's furries you retards, you're dealing with the bottom of the barrel of human depravity.
Enjoy drawing scat ageplay diaper porn all day to make ends meet.
I say do it. But know what your doing, I mean really know. Study and plan it out at least a month before because there are already a tonne of people who've done it before you and do it way better.
If you go in thinking it's an easy money grab reconsider.
Since youd be starting off now, youd just have to do newer games & just settle for doing reviews of games to build up some amount of subscribers then later do some playthroughs. I personally like some commentary but not all the time. Ive watched some people and theres just never a person who is really good at balancing it. Ive watched some theradbrad playthroughs and the guy has this annoying habit of doing this nervous+shy laugh? Its hard to explain, he also misses some of the most basic stuff right in front of him.
What country are you from? You can also do some vlogs on your country+ travel vlog type stuff in your channel. It may not get the following that some youtubers in japan/china/korea get but it might help you get a few people.
Not OP but am starting a youtube channel , non gaming related. Would like to know more about how you can help. Email at [email protected]
You should have a specific niche, also spam comments sections, and get your comments boosted by bots if need be. Use vidiq to find top keywords/tags, of top videos in your niche, and
steal those. Also post on forums like reddit, on a specific subreddit related to your niche. With reddit you'd likely have to buy an older account, and boost it. Also make a twitter/ig, and do the like/unlike strategy to build followers. Hope this helps, and don't forget to never stop uploading.
My yt page has over 1 mil views, and I created it last summer. Unfortunately it uses ripped content, but I have pretty good engagement, just have to actually monetize it. All organic views
Lol i dont fucking care dont mistake ur standards for mine bruh. its just drawing its not like i have to actually get on my knees and eat shit
that being said you dont have to pander to furries theres plenty of other types
thanks bro, i will see if i find better ideas.
we i am not planing to start until summer, when i am done with my semesters
as if drawing is something that easy to do or learn
thanks a lot for the tips i appreciate it, i cant think of any specific niche to be honest
i am from BIH. i understand what you mean by the forced or shy laugh that a lot of commentators do it is indeed annoying.
i was thinking about doing travel vlogs and shit like that but i dont think there is enough content to be uploaded everyday, i dont live that of an interesting life and the country it self there is nothing in it that much to be seen except for some natural landscapes
But i like the money
OP here
I enjoy making people laugh and video games, why not combine them to make money. I think it will work
Yeah, but do you enjoy editing? Do you enjoy uploading on a regular schedule and photoshopping thumbnails? How about marketing your content?
good point lol
First time poster and have barely any knowledge of business.
Am currently in college to get a bachelors in mechanical engineering, planning to do a second major in business.
I'm 19 and trying to get ahead financially since my young age is an opportunity
Am I on track? Is getting a degree in business worth it? What is it that I will learn?
Anyone who was in my position previously, please give any pointers you can.
whats the revenue like for the kind of shitty video game content on youtube? ive read $1 per 1000 views or something similar but is that just averaged over all types of video?
Screaming, making noises, attempts at 'random' and spontaneous gibberish discussions, inserting the latest meme reference every now and then - none of this makes a funny YouTuber.
That boat has sailed, friend. Almost a decade too late now.
so its about 2-4 per 1k views depending on how tech savvy your audience is, thats not bad really if you can put up videos every day
Cause editing s a bitch and you're most likely not funny or interesting if your posting on biz
I did this seven years ago playing Pokemon. I would battle people, talk about the strategy I was using during the battle, and then ask permission from the opponent of I could upload it. 9/10 times they said yes and of course they would share it with their friends. Hundreds of subscribers in a few months, I then started organizing tournaments which brought in more people. I eventually stopped when the new Pokemon came out, I think it was black and white. I didn't feel like re-learning the whole game. Plus I wasn't even very good, 4/5 of my videos were wins, so it would sometimes take all day to get footage.
Even with all my views I would make about $300 a month on a good month. Too much time spent for not enough money. It was interesting to have fans though. Sorry for the blog post, just thought I would throw in my experience
>give one reason i shouldn't
youtube.com
>a dramatic fat loser, being dramatic
> i failed so you will fail
>i get into shitty contracts
>Is getting a degree in business worth it?
No.
>What is it that I will learn?
How to be like everyone else. You will be rewarded for complex behavior, when simple shit usually works best in the real world. Every business is so so incredibly different, any business that you start will hardly have anything in common with the vague generalized shit that you "learn". Want to start a computer business? Learn computers. Want to start an online store? Nigga you can do that right now and learn from the school of life. Focus on your goals, do it right now. Getting a major is procrastinating because you don't feel "ready" yet. Even when you graduate you won't feel "ready". Just start right tf now.
