It has happened to me four times already. I always eat for moxie so I can yolo around with gunner defenses and dragon instinct active. Shit wouldn't activate (not killed by poison/fire damage), but I wouldn't lose my food skills except the HP/Stamina increases.

I'm sure I have been hit from less than 60% (so DI is active) and moxie has activated.

As far as I can tell that's true. Avidya Bow is probably the best raw pierce bow and spread is kinda fucked over by needing load up to get lvl 5 but Calamity Greatbow looks like the best. I'm not sure how 4 compares to 5 for spread but some lvl 4 bows could win out.

I tried playing Monster hunter on a emulated psp using keyboard and mouse and it didnt turn out too well. God eater isnt too bad control wise atleast.

If you're a poorfag a dualshock isn't particularly necessary

Mantis' needs Sharpness+ to really last throughout.
If one dropped Resucitate, they could probably swap in Sharpness+1 for what its worth. Might be able to get +2 if you dropped AuL to AuM.

played SA in generation but didnt touch it in XX yet. is it still mainly just playing sword mode? I guess it is, right?

Brave Style and the new Tempest Axe HA both heavily favor axe mode over sword mode. I've been using Brave SA for a while now and I almost exclusively ice skate around in axe mode.

It mostly is, but Brave (and Alchemy?) focuses on transforming mid combo for big damage once your meter's filled, and the Tempest Axe HA gives Axe mode a lot more mobility.
Its not much, but its something.

Alchemy Style Switchaxe with Tempest Axe and Demon Riot + A third HA of your choosing for a true SWITCHAxe experience

I refuse to use that piece of shit know as the Unsolved CB. It looks terrible.

Using Athena's ASS I can get up all those skill and AuM with no slots, so I'll probably use the deviant shogun CB.

Brave + tempest axe you're in axe mode most of the time
I've been using striker with tempest axe + demon sword and switch between them when one runs out

Gimme the low-down on alchemy SA. I've heard talk about it, but I didn't pay attention since I haven't used SA since P3rd and got bored of reload sword.

This sounds cool too.

Critical eye gives a little more damage.

Sword mode combos automatically force you back into Axe mode instead of staying in Sword mode infinitely.

How the fuck does one deal with Shogun when its enraged?
It constantly skims around me and wont let up with the swiping

alchemy SA sounds fun and I never played alchemy before.
but wtf is the tempest axe. i cant find it

You get it from unlocking High-Rank Village or getting to G-1

My favorite hunters to hunt with are...

never use Alchemy to "help", only for the perks it gives you along with the 3 HA. the only good Alchemy items apply to yourself only.
