What expulsion of Christians from Anatolia?

How was the expulsion of Muslims from Iberia in any way tragic?

The fall of the Ottoman empire at the hands of the filthy eternal anglo whom also helped spread Wahabism.

>Christians
>Expelled from the Anatolia
What?

>HURR

This is a history board, read a fucking book before you post here.

Ottomans did not expel Christians from Anatolia.

let see
>expulsion of Muslims from Iberia
first a little number in 1492 at the end of the Reconquista war but then in 1609-1614
expulsions in 5 years with almost no violence
>expulsion of Christians from Anatolia
Armenians deported through the desert to Syria 1915 (Genocide? Turks say NO) Greeks in Smyrna 1922 get burnt and slaughtered

choose wisely

btw 75% of the moors refugees died of starvation or killed when they landed on the north african coast

Muslims weren't expulsed after 1492, since there were no muslims (it wasn't legal). The expulsion of the moriscos was the expulsion of christians with muslim ancestry, under the charge that they may be crypto-muslims or simply ottoman sympathizers.

The expulsion of you from your mother's womb

...

>invade foreign lands
>get kicked out
>tragedy

How was expelling muslims a bad thing? They were fucking invaders and pirates who fucked up everything in their path.

Doesn't really make expelling Muslim civilians in Spain OK, since they were born centuries after the Muslim invasion.

Tell that to the Native Americans right? Shit was like a hundred years ago bro fuckem.

christian deportations from anatolia is the result of ww1 and the turkish independence war, in 1915-25
reconquista started in 722 and lasted almost 700 years

i don't know how the fuck you will compare the two but most likely reconquista

>expulsions in 5 years with almost no violence
they killed or force-converted all muslims during reconquista. you are thinking of the expulsion of jews, who survived due to the ottoman navy saving them
>deported through the desert to Syria
with supply locations, shelter and light armed guard on the way
>Greeks in Smyrna 1922 get burnt and slaughtered
it was most likely greeks/armenians that burned down smyrna. they also burnt down dozens of cities and towns in western turkey as they retreated, with smyrna being the last one
their reasoning was to bring the allies directly into the war, but it got out of hand

Are you saying we should expel all non-natives from the Americas?

No Im saying you don't know the hate of having your grandparents killed en masse and having hate ingrained in you. You dont just forget that.

Why do you need a tripcode.

Not him but yes. Fuck yanks.

Also most muslims in spain were no different from their christian counterpart except for religion, so even they had more right to stay than "americans" in america.

Did you forget your trip, Periplaneta?

Justice isn't about feels.

I insist, moriscos were not muslim. Muslims were indeed force converted or expulsed from Spain in 1492 along with the jews, contrary to what the other user says.

>>en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expulsion_of_the_Moriscos
>The Moriscos were descendants of Spain's Muslim population that converted to Christianity by coercion or by Royal Decree in the early 16th century.

It isnt but that doesnt mean you wont get crusified or a bullet in the back of the head. Im not saying it is right or wrong Im telling you what happens every time.
