No, not really. It's just something to keep in mind. You don't want to die constantly in order to get one kill. It's just a thing to keep in mind when improving as a player.

Game is actually lot of fun. It's fun because it's mostly like Quake's multiplayer and they haven't changed the core values of it (i.e. speed). Funny how Id Software managed to make so perfect framework back in the day.

This casual matchmaking system is still fucking cancerous and terrible.

Not only queues but awful matches with zero balance are common, you wait for a match and then it's a quick stomp because one team has 12 people and the other has 3, then back to queues.

There aren't community servers to pick up the slack, tons of shitty ones running maps like orange, or it's a 32man shitfest.

There was nothing wrong with server browser and valve servers before, NOTHING. Stupid retards at Valve killed this fucking game.

As a new player the matchmaking seems to be problematic. Often it's completely out of balance.

What can we do about it?

assuming the highest possible skill ceiling is to be as good as a hacker then a hacking pyro with perfect understanding of where flame particles are going to go and when and where to reflect projectiles would still be less effective than even a hacking heavy.

but even then pyro at its absolute most effective possible in a situation where everything is going for him doesn't even come close to a sniper under worse conditions. skill ceiling means nothing when the scenarios that allow pyro to perform well are so infrequent that they never necessitate playing the class.

I was playing with legit config at tf2center versus sniper mains and they outsnipe me frequently

Aiming requires skill. Sniper just needs to stay back and pop shots. That's it. He can take as long as he wants aiming because he isn't in the front lines. In fact, by your logic, Spy requires the highest skill.

He's basically a sniper. The revolver technically being an unscopable sniper rifle. It shoots one bullet at a time.

You can use the best aimbot in the world but it's still being controlled by a fat loser with flaws.

They probably had better game sense than you. You're probably even worse without the cheat. You rely so much on the program doing the work for you that you ignore everything else.
