I have a 2DS and have played a ton of megaten on it, but my FW is beyond hacking, currently. And I was thinking like the PSP Personas, stuff that's only on PSP. Also native PS1 compatibility sounds dope.

What firmware? Anything but 11.4 is hackable at the moment.
PSP Personas exist but thats really it. But if you wanna check em out and can't use PPSSPP, I'd say go for it.
Though I can't imagine SNES emulation on PSP is currently all that good. I remember using it and it being awful.

If your 2DS is on 11.3 or lower, (check system settings) your good to go.
Its incredibly easy now, takes some time (1ish hours? 2 if your new to it) but most of that is just watching bars fill.
I will say this, if you are on the right FW and can hack it, reread and do everything, and I mean everything the guide says (unless its clear it doesn't pertain to you). You'll have no chance of bricking then.

To be fair, Until P5 it did MUCH more with it then P3 and P4. But yeaI liked the everything else in DeSu 1 ALOT more. DeSu 2 I did't feel like I was surviving because big daddy Yamoto gave me a nice base. Its not as tropy/cliche as P3/P4 though give it a shot user.

I finally beat Megami Tensei 2 and I did it without using a guide. Unfortunately I didn't get a to punch god in the face but at least its done because this game really drag on the late game for a fucking long time. I do like it alot more than the first game though since it wasn't just a huge labyrinth and there was alot more options for building your party.

You won't really need one til late game where you need a couple key items to beat the last boss. Those items can be pretty hard to find since its pretty vague with hints.

The NES guide works for the most part except for spell names and the maps (since it was redesign for SNES version).
