I like to put them where they can't be outranged by a sniper or someone with no falloff. Putting it in a location where the enemy would be forced to be occupied with a team fight by the time they realize there's even a turret up is ideal.

Just got back to the game recently and I really do like the new pve mode.

Normal seems like you can do quite literally anything and still survive. Tried Hard 2 times, both failed at starting up the payload. Looking for tips, especially rein/tracer, because Im hoping to play those, I hate playing torb/mercy.

As rein, I only shield when there is a bastion, otherwise I try to beat up things getting too close, especially slicers. I charge detonators if they get too close. I hammer down if it seems we're getting overwhelmed or I miss a charge on det and its close to the payload.

As tracer, Im supposed to clean up nulltroopers I think? What about the shield guys?

I would really appreciate any and all tips you have to share so I don't shit up other peoples games.

if they cant deal with turrets, either plant them on spots out of reach enough but still in range of the targeting system. eventually it becomes second nature when you know which spots are tricky to attack against

just play torb a lot no matter the mode and youll eventually get a hang of it

As Rein, have Mercy damage boost you as much as possible so you can clear out the small frys quickly. Charge Detonators if they get close and shield Bastions and OR-14s.

As Tracer, your main job is removing the shield arms of the Eradicators by getting behind them and shooting the weak spot on their backs. Headshot as much as possible and don't bother with the Slicers because it takes her two clips to destroy a single one.

In the last section, she basically has to stay behind Rein's shield.

i used to play support, but now i play tank and dps, because if i play bad i know im being bad and its my fault clearly since i have the highest game impact and my performance directly helps or harms the team

but as a support just doesnt have that.
sure in high rank or pro teams,being support actually means youre the best player AKA the captain but in pubs you just really cant do much other than take care of a bunch of babies
