I don't need Shepard back per say, but if they do decide on sticking with Ryder there needs to be at least a 5 or 10 year time-skip between Andromeda and Andromeda 2.

Ryder needs to become a bit more grizzled as well as more of an actual leader who commands the respect of his peers.

Playing as the inexperienced new kid on the block was fun for a bit, but quickly became tiring. I don't think I could stand multiple games of this protagonist with this personality.

Yeah, although nothing comes close to the armorsets of 1. They hate a very coherent design (no exposed skin, plates matching their protection level etc) and their textures made them look used. In 2 & 3 there wasn't really the option to wear armor appropriate top your build - you always had those huge armor pieces while miranda and jack wore next to nothing (IN FUCKING SPACE).

MEA did well with the under armor / over armor thing but somehow most of them look stupid for various reasons like the horrible clipping "scarf" or the fucking lights. Also only hyperguardian seems to have "used" textures.

They weren't l33t enough to have "classes". They were just soldiers with standard gear, like all the mercenaries you killed in the past three games. This is emphasized when you have to play as the twin you didn't pick, and they have no powers at all and only basic armor, shielding, and weapons.

I understand that biotics dont have to wear full plate, but exposed skin or spandex in space is just fucking stupid.

Use the jump melee. It's pretty quick(after a small jump) and does huge aoe damage. Especially with a legs aug and a soldier passive.
