little too dark 2bh, but i can see why its useful given you are presumably in Florida

i think tinted windshield is banned in all 50 states

Yes I live in Florida. Tinted windshield is illegal but shops will do it of you as they usually charge a lot for it. Pic related my Civic has a tinted windshield. Never had any problem with cops but then again I don't drive through VA often

I ripped off the 3.7 badge and put a 5.0 one lol

Not much done yet just paid her off at 25k miles. Now im going to start modding. Currently she has Cobb SF intake and stage 1 tune with Cobb AP. I plan on going stage 2 and then possibly e85.

I like it. Do the GTs come without stripes or did you get a delete?

GTs usually don't come with stripes, but there are so many different dealer packages now it's hard to keep track of

Restored and maintained AF. Replaced cat w/ resonator, eBay intake, eBay exhaust, Flyin' Miata anti-sway bars.

air raid cai, boss 302 im, kooks longtubes, magnaflow catted x pipe, magnaflow competition cat back, eibach sway bars, frv-500 8.5 in wheels front 10 in rear, raxiom smoked headlight and tail light, billet front grill, sadly haven't been able to do any internal work to the engine yet but many more mods to come.

Good. Stripes are déclassé.

delete that plate mount, other than that nice car

man as many straight pipe trucks there are youd think it wouldn't be a big deal but my friend was just cruising around a few weeks back and got a ticket for having his in the windshield.

It seems that front license plates are just ways for the state to make money.
On the other hand, if you get a liter bike and get good enough at riding then you don't need a tag at all.

Engine currently still under construction. I have all the parts, just need to get it assembled. Here's my few simple mods:

Stoptech slotted rotors
Hawk ferro carbon brake pads
russel braided steel brake lines
enkei ts-10's - 17x8+35mm
Bridgestone re760's - 225/45's

I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff, but basically when the engine is assembled I'll be making about 280 horsepower to the FRONT WHEELs. the one place power should never go.

Done dumping money into it. Starting to save for an MR2 now. Most of these mods we're just to make the car more fun to drive, as it was bone stock when i bought it.
turbo zzw30 is my next goal.

how is that 350 mi? what kind of power are you putting down with it?

i'd imagine the supercharger is a little overkill, do those M3's not make much power with boltons alone? they're relatively light for what they are but i guess it all depends on how you enjoy the car

haven't done much to it just because I wanna keep reliability and can't afford the big boy parts but
fswerks quick shifter
Cobb rear motor mount
Cobb high flow air filter
Cobb stage 1 tune
VelossaTech big mouth air intake

I'm a retard who knows absolutely nothing about car mods.
Do most people install mods themselves or do they hire mechanics to do it for them?

My supercharger is fine, I need to put my old diff back in, 3.91 & supercharged is overkill. I mean it's fun, but 2 weeks after supercharging I went and ordered a larger crank pulley, smaller sc pulley and now I'm waiting on parts to do an intercooled set up
Aiming for ~420whp

Bolt on cars make ~240whp, but with 3.91 lsd and 5th being 1:1 it's still very fun.

Its really good! You lose some torque, but its good for peak power. I made 430/400 whp/tq around there on 91

Yes, much tighter on onramps, offramps, no more rear end float, no more front end dive on braking or rear end dip on accelerating. Everything is tighter and planted. No more wheel hop on launches, I can actually put the horses to the pavement without bouncing. I haven't done an autocross or track day since doing everything but I think my times will be significantly improved

I'm holding off on other things so as not to change my autocross class (wheels, exhaust, possible SC in future)

vortech makes great kits, did you get car with it installed already? how many miles have you put on it with the supercharger, i fear for that engine's reliability

>Tfw deciding between SCing my V6 or selling it and getting a 2011 V8 with 50k miles for $16.5
Reee

No I bought it from someone & had the vortech unit rebuilt then I installed it. Probably like 4k miles since but I've done the head, gasket & studs, it should be fine.
If it shits the bed S52s are cheap and plentiful.

K&N Drop in Filter, HPS Silicone Intake Hose, Hasport Torque Mount (62A), Hasport Rear Motor Mount (62A), Acuity Shift Linkage Bushings, Acuity Shifter Base Bushings, Acuity ESCO Shift Knob,Stoptech slotted rotors, Akebono ProAct pads, BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S

nice, looks like some killer upgrades for not a ton of cash then

Nothing sexier than dark wheels with chrome on the outside.

i would suggest v8, from personal experience sound is so important, its the one thing my car does every day that makes me happy without having to break the law, also reliability, and higher potential

>e30

Lucky ass motherfuckef

what's the difference between a 400 Hp supra and an 800 hp supra? nothing, they both do 13 second quarter miles.

How hard was it to swap the block to the 34? I've read that it kinda "just bolts up" if you use 35's belt stuff and all that.

I've got a power pack 3 ready to install, other than that.

Debadged for weight reduction

I went with the GT Premium and Performance Package. I'm happy with that until stuff actually needs to be replaced. I would like to supercharge it and add off road long tube headers, but in the end if I'm going to put that much money into the car I might as well get a GT350. I'm considering getting an R.

I love PP wheels. I wish Project 6GR would make replicas in the sizes they offer for the five and seven. Imagine concave PP style wheels in 20x10 front 20x11.

Thanks dude, I was always under the impression Veeky Forums hated black wheels with chrome lips tho

Well it's not really "lucky" when you have to work for it, here's how she used to look back when I first bought her.

haha, race me from a roll bruh!

Too poor for a focus?

fuck you bitch

Nah, the Focus scene is god awful, even though I'm tangentially related to it. The average Focus driver near me is like some awful hybrid between former Subaru drivers and Dad's who had to trade in their mustang when they had kids. Also, I think the ST1 focuses were cheaper than the Fiesta with the Recaros and other bits.

I test drove the Fiesta and knew it was what I wanted immediately.
