RWD transverse V5

ford's DOHC i4
basic 4cyl developed with mazda. The basic design scheme is used in pretty much every i4 car to this very day

>inline 6 imo

Literally this

Straight 8

Inline 5 or V10, just because muh sound.
And shorter than an I6 so it's easier to fit I guess.

TRIPLE DORITO SPINNER

Anouther option is
V12

RWD

v12 and i6 are the only fully native balanced engines

>v12 and i6 are the only fully native balanced engines

no you summerboy

Twin turbo GM ls or big block.

Off boost you have the displacement of the big v8 which gives you driveability. Unlike a boosted sub 3l engine that makes 200hp and ft/lbs until 6000rpm. You can make Chiron power and maintain and rebuild the engine in your garage.

Straight 8

this

4WD V16

DOHC 90° V8

A long-rod, tall deck, midsize v8
>350, 351, mopar 340
The longer connecting rod increases volumetric efficiency without demanding much more of the intake and exhaust runners, and having a tall deck height gives you ample room to increase stroke without running into limitations.

Why is i6 better than v6?

>no mention of flat six

I guess you are all GM niggers

/n/ is that way ---->. Plane engines belong in planes.

imagine being as autistic as this user

i6/v12 for performance
i5/v10 for sound.
v8 for size.

better than being a busriding pedo.

Pretty sure the Corvair had a flat 6. Nigger.

can't relate honestly

Ecoboost v6 owners go here:

Just posted in another thread. I've got an old Cherokee with the straight six 4.0L. No crazy lift or tires, and it's starting to feel a little sluggish with only 108k miles. Gonna keep it in as long as possible, but does anyone have experience with strokers? There's a 4.6L one by Golen that's supposed to make 270hp and 300ft/lb.

It'll be about the cost of buying a new used shitbox ($6000ish after alls done). This seem like a good investment, or am I gonna be swamped with other troubles like having to upgrade the tranny, overheating, etc?

winner

run a bottle of fuel system cleaner through it.

M'igga

This. i6, rwd

ANSWER ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Natural balance and a thinner shape for narrow chassis, in addition to a bit more low-end torque.

A V6 is more compact and usually more reliable though

>A V6 is more compact and usually more reliable though

Almost all Semi, tractor trailer diesels are Inline sixes and go for a million miles. Ford 300's were probably the most reliable engines Ford ever made. Bmw's m30 and m20, are 500k mile engines with only occasional valve adjustments.
