Be Ford

>be Ford
>come out with awesome 6.2L beast
>build up product loyalty
>couple years go by
>swap it out for a 3.5L and still charge people $65,000
>pocket the difference in cost of materials
>"psh, nothin personal kid"

is this the future of the automotive industry?

Doesn't the new Raptor have more power and torque than the old one?

Real men care about displacement not efficiency. A tiny old people mover engine doesn't belong in a truck.

at the cost of milage and durability, the latter being most important for a truck

it's also 500 lbs lighter, has a far superior drive train and is vastly better in every way.

>be you (retarded)
>see smaller number
>make idiotic post

Forced induction is literally more displacement, go finish highschool

>being this retarded

Don't forget it sounds like a Honda fart can now too.

>this is why you're wrong
>NO U
No wonder this board has gone to shit

Look at this loser having a meltdown

no, displacement is the variance in volume of the combustion chambers from top to bottom piston positions

Usually refers to the air fuel mixture at atmospheric pressure, the forced induction came along and crammed a lot more air into the combustion chambers

More air > more fuel > more bang > more power

Literally just another way of increasing displacement

displacement has nothing to do with air-fuel mixture, it's a measurement of volume
volume is independent from density or pressure

It's basically replacing volume. You use bigger displacement engine because you want more power, and bigger cylinders let in more air. But with FI you can force in more air

Literally a replacement for displacement

OP the new Raptor is way fucking better than the old one.

I love a V8 as much as the next guy but a sixer is okay too, especially when it's better in all figures than the predecessor.

Just gonna say

I'd reckon the production costs of a twin turbo V6 with all the necessary auxiliary components is more than the NA v8.

The old engine had forced induction as well

not nearly as much

I would just get the 5.0 V8 and supercharge it

Already failing even as a mall crawler

>be GM
>fail to compete at all

Then why don't they call it a 7 liter ecoboost nigger.

>be Ford
>still get btfo by syclone and typhoon

When will ford compete?

>dumb GM fangirl unironically belives a pair of old pieces of shit are somewhat relevant

top kek this faggot is raging hard

GM will NEVER EVER compete

the ecoboost raptor is faster

I have never seen a raptor go 0-60 in less than 5 seconds.
>ford literally cannot compete with 2 old pieces of shit

Wow. Ford really is a garbage company

are you stupid? do you not understand that it is literally irrelevant what a modified syclone or typhoon can do in a conversation about production cars?

god damn, GM fangirls are literally some of the most retarded people around

>modified syclone and typhoon
They're stock and they still btfo everything ford has to offer.

>literally the ecoboost before the ecoboost
GM is still the pioneer of turbo trucks. Stay mad

That doesn't sound eco at all
