Bought a grande punto but one of the wheels is fucked, so I'm looking for a replacement

Bought a grande punto but one of the wheels is fucked, so I'm looking for a replacement.
My wheels have a part number of 50901338, but all used ones on ebay that seem identical have a part number of 51797477.
Anyone knows how to check what the difference is? No seller bothers with detailed spec after putting part number on.

Is it a diesel ?

>t. mjet
fpbp

yep, 1.9 JTD 130bhp

Try asking specialised forums, you may have better luck with those.

Alternatively go to a FIAT dealer in person, ask the part manager to search for both numbers and see what the description says.
Chances are, one of the numbers is just a revision of the other one with no substantial changes of the main parameters (hole pattern, ET, rim width, etc)

Guess I will have to do that.
I emailed few guys on ebay that sell 517 ones and they all confirmed that hole pattern, ET, and rim width are the same.
I would contact my local dealership but they are useless. They take ages to reply and then ask you such money for help I could buy 3 new cars for it.

Just go there in person, the guy at the part store probably won't give a shit if you buy the rims or not, it takes 2 mins to look up both codes and you can walk out of there with all the info you need

this

It's probably the finish, I guess. Or maybe the refreshed logo cap.
As you can see, it's exactly the same model.

4 - 71752371
5 - 71752372
6 - 50901338 or 51797477
8 - 735481038
9 - 735481020

hmmm interesting. I wish car manufacturers were releasing spec sheets for all parts same as it is in computer or electronic industry.

Eh, the exame exact alloy was used before and after the logo refresh, so I guess it's just that.

I'm looking to buy that same exact set and having it painted in anthracite or maybe the Evo Sport alloys if I can get them for a good price.

Alright thanks, I guess I will go with it and hope it's the same.
Surely the cap should fit from the old tyre.

You mean the center cap? Yeah, they're the same size.

yep, the cap. And I meant wheel, not tyre. Brainfart of a non-native English speaker.

Where you from, user?

born poland, grew up in NI but my language skills suck as you can see

They're fine.

Get it remapped, that engine is a fucking riot with a remap.

>that engine is a fucking riot with a remap
lol, only mjet could be this delusional about a liter diesel fiat

I suppose almost 200hp and 400Nm from a 1.9 diesel with a simple remap isn't fun.

I like Fiat threads, they're always comfy and the anons are always helpful

Oh at least it's the good diesel

Check the offset and such, might be slightly different for the petrol and diesel models

My insurance is already expensive, no need to bump the price up any higher.
I think this 1.9 JTD is already good enough for me, especially considering this is my first car.

that's because FCA is the true master race

She tries so hard to look angry

kek

Reporting that to the insurance is optional :^)

this
based mjet

if I crash won't that be the first thing they gonna check?

I don't think someone will check if your ECU is remapped if you crash.
