They dumped more money into their enterprises because of fears the chinese companies are going to enter the market. So they are trying to get more established and in both bigger and better locations. Both Hyundai and Kia not only expanded in my city, but moved to more dominant and bigger locations.

they're pretty featureless, and not as fancy as the euro luxobarges, but if you need a cheap, comfy commuterbox with no frills, KDM is worth looking at.

I was hoping to find something lower maintenance, lower cost, higher reliability than Euro, without going completely boring and bland. I had my eye on Japan, but I've heard poorly about their big names other than Lexus, which I mainly just dislike the looks of.

They have no identity, every gen they remake everything.
