Where can I find a list of recipes for foods (real foods like cakes or entrees, not the effects foods)

>Guardian chasing me in Hyrule field
>Shield surfing away from it
>Weaving left and right to dodge laser blasts while busting shield tricks
>My fucking face
This game is at it's most fun when it's throwing spontaneous crazy shit at you.

Where's the Sheikah lore?

Paya's payas are best payas.

>Hylian Tunic dyed green
>Hylian Trousers
>Cap of Time
This should have been what Link's new official outfit should have looked like. The Wild set looks like shit. I get that it's supposed to look retro, like how Link looked in the art for the very first LoZ game, but it just doesn't work in this style. This looks more like a genuine modern take on Link's classic outfit.

Dammit. what happened to my picture.

...

...

Budget ran out.

The old thread is having some kind of Gerudo Hanukkah. Page 10 and it just keeps going.

>Get horse into the desert
>It instantly spawns out of it

This is one of the few places I actually want to ride around on my horse. I know sand seals exist, but I just like the picture of a knight on horseback several times more.

Never enough Gerudoposting

Are the secrets of the universe in that white space?

That's just how the image was on the tumblr

Reminder that the Sheikah on Paya's face is a tattoo, and is therefore permanent.

I-is that alright with you?

Okay, I'm not yet done with my digging process, but the first thing I found are the dragon names.

Naydra and Farosh are "good" translations. They feature a bit of liberty, but the true meaning is still preserved.

"Dinraal" is yet another NoA atrocity.

The actual name is オルドラ, romanized as orudora. It doesn't take a genius to find out that the actual reference in the name is directed to Ordon, as the dragon names are combinations from region name beginnings + "dora" for dragon.

Unfortunately, the dragon names are not references to the goddesses, at all. You had a nice theory, but you've been deceived by Nintendo of America's "translation" policy.

The dragon names refer to the ancient names of the lands. I'll keep looking for the dialogue. I don't have a switch I could set to Japanese, but maybe some Japanese guy uploaded the cutscene.

>the dragon names are not references to the goddesses, at all
>he dragon names refer to the ancient names of the lands
Bruh, the lands are named after the Goddesses. You're telling me Dinrall, Naydra, and Farosh don't sound like Din, Nayru, and Farore to you?

Dinraal is a reference to Ordon in the japanese version though

And yet the dragons are still red, blue, and yellow, and are associated with power, wisdom, and courage.

What does that remind you of?

What is it with Japan and flying whales? I just realized that image has popped up fairly often in Japanese media. We have two in Zelda.

I messed up. Eldin is actually Ordin in the Japanese version. Another "liberty" in translation.

It's still quite clear that the Japanese devs wanted to reference the lands and not the Goddesses in the names. Picking the other part of the name because no one would get the actual reference is a series of fuckups.

The mind boggling part is the thought process behind it. Zelda games are developed with western fantasy in mind. The names are supposed to fit. Why does Nintendo of America keep changing stuff they do not need to? It's so fucking dumb.

So then, if they're supposed to fit, then the idea still stands.

The lands they actually reference have the same features. The dragons roam around the lands the game world features and do NOTHING but that. The whole concept of tying landmarks with dragons is chinese as fuck, and what a surprise! The dragon are chinese too. How many clues do you need?

You two remind me of an animated short I watched where a character ate a can of spinach and then started rapidly punching someone going "ora ora ora ora ora".

People were arguing if it was a Jojo reference or a Popeye reference, but for some reason people couldn't understand it was referencing BOTH.

>We almost had a game about Link dressed in a hoodie playing guitar and riding motorcycles while fighting aliens.
Someone at Nintendo went full retard when they came up with that pitch.

That aside, how would you feel about a Zelda game set in a modern day setting?

found the cutscene
the text highlighted in 「」 is in blue in the game

>Nerudora
Sounds about right.

Of course they are referencing the goddesses. My problem is that the dragon names derive from the land names and NoA allegedly deemed the western audience incapable to get the reference, mostly because THEY changed the names again and again before. Instead of trying to fix it they decided to simply reference the goddesses directly, cause who cares, right?

I'm actually posting this in an attempt to follow up .

女神のしもべ means "servant of the goddess" like other guy mentioned. 女神 can refer to any "goddess", even Nayru. See here for reference
i-njoy.net/zdss_08.html

Given that it's only Hylia who has been referenced in the game like this, it's probably her. I wanted to mention this, as it could be a clever double meaning. If you play the game without knowing about Zelda lore you're pretty set on "Goddess equals Hylia", but the language leaves room for interpretation. The monologue does not mention Hylia by name.

But the text also specifies that this is a spirit (精霊).

This is actually pretty neat. Zelda has some pretty interesting lore despite how loosely handled it often is.

Are the golden goddesses being retconned?

Molesting link!

delet, link is the one doing the molesting

The benefits of enjoying being top and bottom

Nah steam punk is as far as I want them to go. Spirit Tracks is as far as Hyrule should advance

Wish they'd carried on they didn't screenshot every Gerudo

What would be good choices for "strong enemies" ala Lynels for the next game?
I vote Geozards from the DS games.

It Gives Link a place to aim.
>"are my tit fuck skills good enough Link"
>"please cum wherever you like"
>"it's so hot and thick"
>"Ahh, it's in my eye of truth!"

>implying Urbosa and Zelda wouldn't enjoy Trap Link and spend weeks dom-ing him in the hyrule sex dungeon

Zelda knows Link crossdresses and still loves him, she must be into it.

Paya is for Granite only

>Always try to avoid going by Fort Hateno because it's creepy as fuck
>Read Robbie's Memoires
This game really gets to me somtimes

That isn't one of the Great Faries

this bird champion fucker makes me think that ganon really wasn't such a bad guy

What do you think happened to Ganon/Gannondorf that would make him want to give up his corporeal form and become a shapeless mass of hatred? Did he finally get sick of getting his ass kicked all the time?

He decided tricking people into resurrecting him him wasn't working so he'd just make his own body but then Link busted in while he was still partially undressed and when he got beat decided to go full pig

If the next game is a sequel he should come back as a member of that games Hylian nobility

Well they call me many names, you know

>full pig
>not whole hog
One job

Didn't occur to me at the time

>dude's literally dead and he still has the balls to be an ass to link

>tfw trap link gives me a boner

wtf am i going gay?

n0t gay if feminine benis

So are we in agreement that Riju is 12

No.
She's AT LEAST 14

This "mass of hatred" is probably something close to a soul or a spirit. It's not a real body, but "real" enough to fuck shit up for a time. It's not clear what happened to him over the millenias, but it's probably what's left if you try to destroy every single atom of him. It's a fallback form he assumes if resurrection fails. Or maybe it's even below that and a form he wouldn't assume normally, like a temporary outcome of a failed transformation.

Based on BotW and the previous games I came to the theory that you can't erase him permanently. The best shot is sealing him away for some time and hope that it lasts long. From what he managed to do with only one piece in OoT and TP, he definitely intends to cheat death. He died in TP and WW since he didn't manage to make a wish.

Even though the royal family had the complete Triforce for extended periods of time, they couldn't wish Ganon away forever. Maybe one cannot wish for conflicting miracles. The scary part is that the Master Sword isn't suitable or strong enough to seal him. "These days" it takes the Triforce to banish him.

Do 14 year old play games with dolls? I don't know I have little if any interaction with little girls

Twelve year olds don't play with dolls either

I'm 23 and I play with dolls.

Are you suggesting she's even younger or that the Gerudo society is hell on children and they need to play make believe in place of real friends

She's a ruler who has to put on a serious face for her people at all times.

Give her a chance to unwind when she's alone, holy shit.

why why WHY WHY WHY is Link right handed in this game?! It doesn't even have motion controlled swordplay!

How about riding her actual seal rather than playing with fake seals or watching the Sand Seal races

Personally I'd rather she get some of Babi's special training

Who says she doesn't ride her seal? You often see her with it

From the sounds of it she's still being hled back by Buliara. Before she was allowed to leap on her seal and go examine Naboris but after the first failed reconnaissance Buliara doesn't let her stray to far from her gaze

As I said her childhood has been taken from her. Realistically the royal family ought to be large enough for her to have cousins to play with and aunts who can lead until she's ready. Single child households among a people whose culture tells them they must find partners and have kids to survive don't make any sense

>They're called Guardians because they were meant to protect the Hero when fighting Ganon
aw fuck

Guardians did nothing wrong.
#GuardianLivesMatter

Did they literally curb stomp Ganon 10,000 years ago. 4 Divine Beasts, a hero whose gone through all 120 Shrines with the Master Sword, a princess with full sealing powers and 1000's of Guardians of various types

BAN ALL POT LIDS

ITS 2117 PEOPLE

POT LIDS CAUSE DEATH

Considering Ganon waited 10,000 years until he had the ability to seize control of all the machines I would imagine that yes his defeat was probably brutal

Am I supposed to do something here

yes

Nope, it's just a light

Let's compromise and say 13

Either way too young for the Linkbowl

Sometimes when my switch is docked it black screens then cuts back into the game after a bit, what causes this?

It happens much more with MK8, and for much extended amounts of time.

She can use Mipha's plan and spend time with him and build it into a romance by the time she's old enough. She'll have the benefit of not dying before she can even start the plan

The only downside is she has to watch him dating other girls while her plan is in process

For me it was the HDMI cable. I used my old Wii U HDMI cable and that shit stopped.

Three years is not that much of an age gap, user.

This is probably why she even let him borrow the Thunder Helm to begin with. It gives her a legit reason to have Link visit her more often, and she'll start working her way into his heart during those frequent visits.

Does the Master Sword lose energy when fighting Guardians and Ganon, or only when it's not glowing?

it always loses energy. it just loses it slower when it's glowing

Don't forget about the Tetraforce:
▲ ▲
▲ ▲

The durability when the master sword is glowing is huge. I used the thing for damn near my entire assault on the castle.

isn't Link at least 17 if not 18

I doubt she'll be calling him over and trying on the helm frequently nor will she send him away if he brings it back before it fits her perfectly

Zelda is 17. I don't know why but I assumed Link to be a little bit younger than Zelda in this game.

Regardless the helm still gives them a reason to get together every so often, if only to check on its condition and then go out for seal races that start happening closer and closer to romantic sunsets.

Link must be older or the same age as Zelda considering he goes up on the mountain with her, he's just a manlet

I thought you had to be 17 to physically enter the spring, it says nothing about an escort waiting just outside of it.

Wasn't it you had to be 17 to approach the mountain, not just the spring?

More likely Riju will use Link as the poster child for her proposal to let Voe into the city by having him on display with the Thunder Helm getting mad applause only for him to whip it off and reveal he's a Voe

Zelda isn't the only one who can use Link for political ends

I'm not sure, it's somewhat vague. I'd have to watch it again.

Even still, a four year age gap isn't much. Especially as Riju gets older.

I like that idea, but I think Link's gender would end up being the worst kept secret in Gerudo Town after Calamity Ganon's defeat.

Oh, this blond Hylian Vai shows up out of nowhere and helps Riju take back the divine beast? And suddenly a Hylian voe of the same name defeats and helps seal away the Calamity? Gerudo aren't idiots. They'd put two and two together.

one hundred and four year age gap

healing stasis comas don't count, user.

they do if you're tying to get a drink

I don't think Link gave his name out to all and sundry. So far as I'm aware the only people confirmed to know his name are Riju and Buliara possibly Malena but that was an option rather than the only choice

You literally can't get a drink at the only bar in the entire region.

Because 100 years in suspended animation doesn't count.

...

Can I find the royal guard armor in the castle or do I have to buy if I want it?

>Sequel game starring a Gerudo girl named Link.
>The Hero of the Wild has gone missing, and Gerudo Link decides she must find him in order to help her people.
>Has to level up and fight foes across Hyrule.
>Never finds the hero, but becomes a hero in her own right by the end of the game.
This sounded more like Bionic Commando than I indented for it to when I started typing.

I don't remember seeing any free armor in the castle. Lots of weapons however. Hylean shield is in there.

Motion controls to be added I hope.

Royal Guard Armour? There's no such animal
