Forgotten cars thread

Show this car some love

...

I saw a video of a guy destroying one. Never forget.

Its not forgotten
My dad has one with the turbocharged diesel
Runs like a mad little french horsie when you downshift and floor it

Also, this one.

My first car, it was good shitbox.

>has a film trilogy
>forgotten

This.
The 406 is safe and secured historically

Not to mention a touring car.

Thinking of getting this later

>was fucking everywhere
>now nowhere to be seen anymore

Fuck I remember my grandma having one of these

I seen a dude selling one as "collectible" he wanted 7000 for one and it had less than 100000km, still he's out of his fucking mind. And user, there's a reason why you don't see them anymore, they were shite

...

i have the second gen, they rust like hell, no wonder there arent any left

Haven't seen one of these in years.

that's a better interior than 99% of modern cars. How did they fuck it up so badly from here?

i still see these quite often in wales.

I've got plans to "resurrect" mine.
A dark green MK1 wagon with a 1.8 silvertop.
who knows, maybe I'll blog it here too...

Cause they rust faster than a post-'91 VAG. I got one as a job benefit, the first one was an automatic that died on an uphill because it kept shifting between 3rd and 4th. The second one was completely rusted out after 6 years. Suspension didn't get through inspection anymore.

You would see them quite often a decade ago in Eastern Europe, now it's as rare as a virgin in 2017.
