They copy pasted the same objectives to every planet and called it a game, with a few MMO style collect x/ go talk to y missions in between, and somehow made multiplayer shittier than ME3 instead of being able to improve it with a new engine.

SAM can't compensate entirely for Ryder's inexperience. I'd say a post-resurrection Shep would win every time, thanks to experience/age and being part cyborg. SAM might give Ryder an edge in a drawn out fight with an environment that can be used to Ryder's advantage however.
