The best way to do a status ailment boss-buster build is to not do that.

Just focus on stat up/down and physical striking if you want to beat bosses easily, most tough enemies are just immune to most things because fuck you.

the rest of the cast are referred to by their given names, they refer to goro by "akechi" because most of the cast, arguably joker aside, don't consider themselves close enough to refer to him by his given name. this is furthered by the fact he was only supposed to be a "business acquaintance" even when he was supposedly working with them.
