Strat's not the only place still to this day crawling with Undead though. Arthas purging Strat is exactly what the LK wanted him to do. Quarantining Strat then using those to find a cure would have been a more efficient way of finding a cure and ultimately with a retroactive viewpoint be the safer decision for all of Lordaeron. Not to mention there's been evidence of Dalaran being able to put up nigh impenetrable force fields in both WC3 and pre-Wrath WoW, so it wouldn't be too much of a tall order to that on Strat and maybe Andorhal as well. Considering all these options, it's really the brash overtly quick attempt at decision making from Arthas that screwed him over.
