Well lucky you, you're exactly the sort of person that ANet made leveling obsolete for. Just use your level 20/30/40 scroll and then use 60/50/40 tomes.

If you don't have enough of those for at least like 300 levels worth cluttering up your bank, then you have nothing to complain about.

I know what you mean though, I mained guardian before HoT but dragonslayer was too shit and turned me off it. Now a potential support or condi guardian with tomes is on the cards I'm considering changing. I'll wait for more official info on what the classes will play before deciding though because engi/kangz/ele/druid all look interesting too.
