I think they call them the same thing now, but Tempo used to be the more mid-range build with Cythnias and a more aggressive curve. Roach has already had better WRs since RoB, but I personally find more aggro heavy builds more fun to play.

Tempo constantly puts a bunch of little guys on the board and then tries to buff them with various cards like Wind God. Roach (aka OTK) is predominantly a combo deck that goes for heavy burst damage with roaches.

Yes, getting Eachtar'd on turn 7 is much better than Roach.

The win rates say midrange shadow is stronger but I am almost certain dragon is better. I have only seen a few shadow players grinding for master rewards while almost everyone is dragon.
Dragon feels stronger too.
