Akuma has all the tools you'd want, he just has low health. Ken has a bunch of gimmicks and damage, but no long range buttons. Ryu has nothing

Before I buy tekken how much harder than SFV is it to learn? I heard that SFV was made very "accessible".

That being said, I don't see how a player base can be spread so thin any further on any platform.

Ken is still very strong, Akuma is stronger in most areas but he still has literally no health or stun so 1 horrible mistake and it's over. Ken still has solid punishes and insane corner carry along with one of the best overheads in the game. Ryu is simply crippled right now in comparison, a bottom 3 character.
