Japscrap can never compete

this desu famirino

gee user how come your mom lets you have TWO drills

because one is an impact

figured, going to be a nice baiku once it's fixed up

what went right?

i hope so. put about 250 into stuff so far, still needs a couple hundred for some other shit, a complete disassembly for cleaning and derusting and repainting. probably gonna be 500-700 total.

Will one spontaneously contract HIV if he gets an XSR700?
Asking for a friend

...

CB250 user here. My muffler vibrated off during the last long ride. Saved $300 by just taking it to a (car) muffler shop.

So yeah. Welders are cheap, cans fucking expensive.

...

Found one of those for sale with only a couple thousand km on it but it's so fucking far away.

i'd rather have the 900

Does it even fix the soft front suspension or is it just a headlight and tank swap?

the front is fine imo, as an fz07 owner

it's the rear that's problematic. it propels the bike sideways more than forwards

>still no motogp for 2 weeks

...

Holy fucking aesthetic, japan.

>tfw this look is basically unavailable in the US because everyone would rather pretend to have a ducati

who was at fault?

>$75.

Very well, user, now give us the to-do list.

Both of them desu, but marquez should have just said rossi never kicked his lever, that was just ridiculous

Half fairings are tasteful.

Told ya

until yamaha and suzuki get to them

i wonder if Valentino would still be racing if he'd not been penalized and won the championship

Suzuki used to be good. ;___;

...

Riding to Djibouti next Friday. Not really that far but will be going through some desolate terrain

A hand for a clueless idiot?

How do I connect A to B?
C is what was previously connected to B.

...

...

red to red, black to anywhere but red

...

Yes, but the connectors dont fit each other. What do?
Im really clueless with fucking cables.

Who /improvement/ here?

I'll finish by going back to Honda and posting this. The CB1100R prototype from a few years ago.

I HNNNG to this day.

>last year had inch wide strips
>this year have absolutely 0
feels pretty good

just connect the wires
cut the plug off, strip the cable and crimp on those bullet connectors that came with the number plate light, then you can plug it in

or cut the connectors off both sides then just twist and tape them together

What's a fair price for a 2015 ninja 300 with 6k km? Got dings here and there. Thinking about 2500 usd (selling)

Marquez is the one who started shit, but Rossi gave into it, he's been doing this long enough he should know better.

think you can sell for a bit more, 2.5k-3k is the going rate for the new-gen 250s around me while the 300s are 3k+

thanks, only 36.5k and last registered in 95 so sitting for over 2 decades
>ignition - done
>new battery - done
>rebuild carbs - done
>new throttle handle - done
>new headlight and housing - done
>new key switch - done
>consumables (oil and filters) - done
>new clutch and springs - pending
>tacho add - pending
>replace bent forks
>brakes
>tires
>chain and sprockets (old ones are good but rusty)
>find and fix tiny oil leak
>new mufflers
>replace all old rusty hardware (this will be fun)
>new foam and cover for seat
>remove corrosion from sockets and connectors (or just redo wiring)
>remove the 10 lbs of rust
>polish and clear anodize aluminum parts
>strip and paint
>galvanize non painted steel
>try not to dump it or get run over right after i spent all this time and money
all i can think of at the moment

Why are the Espargaro brothers still in MotoGP?

Thank you m8.
I'll try and see how I fuck this up.
Cheers.

Every good story needs an underdog

>borrowing a bike from a friend
>it's been sitting for 6 years
>needs new tires and brakes
>battery probably dead
How do I handle this?

oh yeah and it needs new carb boots to mate it to the engine because the old ones disintegrated and are being held on with rtv

Because mediocre factory teams need mediocre riders.

suzuki a best

yes

Honda a bester and doesn't need to be obsessed over by anime girls.

That's a funny way of spelling aprilia

I was riding this weird motorcycle once. I thought it actually said aprilia on it, but the dash cluster was fogged up and I had to get off and walk away because the brakes failed and the main crank bearing spun. Never really got a chance to look.

how is Sam going

>implying it had enough gas to ride to start

Those forks... eeek

>Aprilia
>unreliable
Their race engines last a race, like everyone else's and their street engines are super stronk
I swear, people who think Aprilias somehow burst on dire must have only read that retard's review of the SXV as a daily driver

i know, gonna try to bend them back with a press. rides fine though.

>I've never actually ridden an Aprilia.

Why didn't you just say so?

Italian build quality. They're weekend bikes for sure. Put too many miles on them and you'll only work the faults out.

I would gladly buy an aprilia with 50k miles on the odometer, but less than 10k? Naw.

The fuck are you on about? My tuono has 16k with nothing but regular maintenance. This meme needs to die

>italian build quality
You mean hand built?
>weekend bikes
Wrong
>nah dude, they totally explode early on
Up to this gen they even used outsourced engines from rotax and japs, you utter moron

>I got one of the good ones so it's all good man

Is this a ducati forum or something?

I commute on my aprilia every day but okay dude

>Aprilia is totally liek ducutty guise
Fuck off m8
They used to share parts with Suzuki, of all brands
And recent ones are built under Piaggio supervision

>I read something somewhere on the internet and I'm going to repeat it as fact despite having no experience with the actual brand.

Neat

>watching Phillip Island 2015
>Nicky crash on lap 17

feels

>gonna try to bend them back with a press

you have no idea what you're talking about lmao

where did you get this info from?

It's autistic parrots repeating circlejerks from gixxer boards

why borrow a piece of shit?
or if you meant it the other way
why borrow a bike for 6 years?

wooden v blocks plus 20 ton press son
even if i fuck them id have to buy a new set anyway

sounds like a good way to get a speed wobble and die

anyone going to Silverstone?

You must be in NZ? I owned one and loved it

theres literally 0% it will work out. Just buy new ones and put your dick in the press

ive read up on it a lot, its been dun befo with good results

"Aprilia is reliable" - aprilia riders who are still aprilia riders
"Aprilia is shit" - aprilia riders who are now honda riders

"Honda is shit" - honda riders who are now Suzuki riders

>Tfw anytime I post about gs1200ss everyone gives me shit
Glad you like them. I had a black 2003 with full Yoshi system. Regretted selling it for the past 2 years

aprilia is reliable, dude. the 750 motor is 100k worthy

Yamaha is le undisputed most reliable manufacturer.

So, literally the same as good and bad experiences with every other brand

>Aprilia is unreliable
>1000 v2 engine is rotax and reportedly indestructible
>1200 v2 engine is the same, but toned down for touring
>750 v2 engine is a scaled 1200
>ditto for the new 900
>1000/1100 v4 engine is fucking godlike

What motivates you to shit on a small italian brand?
It's not like they'll cut into any considerable chunk of market
They're just doing their thing and they're doing it excedingly well

I don't follow aprillia whatsoever. Couldn't even tell you any of there models. Why are they so cheap these days? I walked past a store the other day selling 250s or 300s brand new for next to nothing. The 750 was 1/2 the price of a r6?

super depressed. life is going fine but I'm too selfhating to do the whole women thing. what do?

Are the old v2s the same as the current ones?

I'm guessing they're somewhat of an exotic in America
Just not $40k exotic, but rather "sori we can't really have a network in Italy, let alone in America" exotic

Current v2s should only be the 900 and the 1200
1200 is for comfy, 900 just came out so we have no clue what it's like except TORK

The 750 is like half the bike of an R6 for one. And they're trying to sell them now that the 900 came out they're old stock.

It'll come right. I was the same. Found the right girl and things are good now.

Disregard women
Acquire friends
Male friends
Even if you're a woman, no woman will be able to pull you out of bad times like a true bro can

a late model 750 will be bulletproof. snatch a dorsoduro while you can

I didn't need this feel.
>TFW 1 friend

Not actually interested in purchasing. I have a gsxr750. Just was a little curious about them.

all my male friends are married or will be by this october
