Oil leak

>oil leak

Now I know it's a 30 year old vehicle and lots of times they drop a little lil, but this is kind of concerning it's listed. Would this be enough for Veeky Forums to say fuck it?

>pic related.

well go see it, drive it, then determine yourself

>buying a 30 year old specialty import vehicle for fucking $10k for a DD

What the fuck is your problem?

>these niggas want over $20k for the million Figaros they have for sale.

Holy shit what the fuck is this place.

Go read about the 2LT engine.......then think about it.

Thinking of getting this. Thoughts?

Why get something that is so old and a speciality for a DD?

Yotacucks love paying a ton of money for antique shitheaps.

$10k what american? Are you insane?

Have double cab diesel hilux but would change it this second for US spec tacoma with V6 and auto box.

muh JayDEEM

for some reason in the states anything Toyota cost a lot. An old beat to fuck 22re 4runner would cost an easy 6 or 7k in the states.

Also is this diesel engine better than the 22re?

Old beat up Toyotas sell for like $10k here in New Zealand as well

Their just rusty, gutless POS really

Mitsubishi Utes are far superior, best just to get a Strada Decoi/L300

Did you guys get any diesels imported?

We only had gas imported here, look how fucking insane people are.

>208,000 MILES
>bid is over $7k

When you look at shit like this it makes OPs post of a 1897 with 100k Kilometers on it not seem like a bad deal, although I have no idea how good the old toyota diesel engines are.

It's not like Mitsu/Nissan are superior it's just that old hilux is not worth $10k.

I paid mine like $2k some 8 years ago and that's how much beaten up rusty hilux is worth.

Where are you? Because I agree thats what they are "worth" but the actual market price is much higher here.

Biggest issue I have with mine 2.8 diesel other than being very low on power (90hp) are vibrations and horrible sound it makes.

It's good on fuel and never gave me any trouble tho.

Nah fuck market. I just want to say if you live in states you can get so much nicer truck than Hilux for 10k.

I blame Top Gear UK for the retardation that is the used Toyota truck market. You know what episode too....

It's always been like that here in the southeast US. And these people don't watch top gear.

Shut up third-worlder

Does it have direct injection?

No it's indirect

It's not just Top Gear that gave Toyota reliability reputation

Car looks nice enough but..
>Hablo espaƱol

>indirect injection
The fuel could miss your motor and start a fire, why would you want this old death trap?

lol

That isn't how it works.

Yo, I love hot, fresh, JDM street cred as much as the next weeb, but what the fuck man, 10k out the door for a Hilux/4runner with an oil leak? Just get a domestic one for a quarter of the price.

Have you seen the price on domestic 4runners in the states ? That one has over 200k miles and is less than 3 grand less than the one OP posted.

I like the retro decal kit on it
