I can't get over this fucking car and I want it so bad, how do you guys get the money for these cars, I don't make enough to get one today, but whenever I find one that's rust free, I doubt they'll be around for long enough to save up the money to buy it. I need help, how do I get over my first love.

Engine bay is pretty fucked, but I'm drunk and sad and want this to do a GTS conversion on.

Everyone abandoned their S12s for S13s or cannibalized them for parts. I find like two S12s on Craigslist a year that are borderline undrivable with serious problems/neglect.

I personally destroyed half a dozen of these. It makes me laugh knowing that kids can't get one today that hasn't had the piss driven out of it for less than 5 grand.

No dude, I know what fuel injection is, but I haven't gone to look at the car because I'm poor, else I'd have bought it either way. WIthout even googling it, it's probably carbureted.

As for the rebuild, so far I'm around 400 in for a seal kit, the seals the kit doesn't include (injector o rings, water pump gasket), timing belt, TRD head gasket, and a couple of other little things.

Next up I'm going to get the rings which seem to be around 100-150 dollars for quality ones. ~150 for OEM crank and conrod bearings or 50 dollars for ACL crank bearings, not sure which I'm going with. Hopefully I don't need new pistons, but that's around 600 or 700 burgerbux in parts, not including machine shop work.

I'm hoping to have it done before summer ends. I FUCKING MISS driving that car, dude.
