>500 milliseconds earlier to hit your line, big deal.
..yes

thats like 28 meters earlier at 100km/h

>my KTM is just as reliable and requires infrequent maintenance, just like the DRZ400 boat anchor
Fuck off.

Bang for your buck is a DRZ in california. In other states, I'd say a plated WR450f. If you buy a KTM, you're committing to more frequent maintenance and stupid shit like changing 3 oil filters at once and laying the bike on its side for an oil change.

For something more modern, consider a WR250R or X, depending on preferences. I think a DRZ is a better bargain though.

its not made to be raced yes.

If you are a somewhat decent rider you will still be able to keep up with the liters on the twisties.

No but when compared to another bike in the same class like a WR450F, it requires about the same amount of maintenance.

The only KTM that is close to the 5 valve WR450f is an RFS KTM with its 3 oil filters and on-its-side oil changes.

>mfw replaced missing center bolt that holds bashplate in place with a gold one on a shitbike

How do you get girls to get on your bike? Is driving with a passenger on a sportbike difficult? First year rider btw so I´m not 100% confident in my riding, more like 80-85%

I hate inline 4s. Never again.

It is only 2 oil filters unless you count the screens. The WR has oil screens too but you just don't see them when you change the oil. You can even replace one of the paper filters with a reusable mesh filter if it's that big of a deal. Also no, you don't have to turn the bike on its side to change the oil.

Btw, the WR426, which comes from the same era as the RFS bikes, is complete garbage by comparison.
