What I want to do is add more interesting effects in the ingredients. So for example, I'd like to add a freeze effect to at least two ingredients, creating a potion that freezes whoever ingests it, or is poisoned by it. I think i could do this pretty easily with just tes5edit.

What are some magic effects in mods or in the vanilla game that would be cool to add to alchemical ingredients?

The CK always gives you errors no matter what mod you open, just click on ignore all until it stops

console up, click the NPC, TC to take control and TCL to no clip them into the air wherever you want them. Make sure you still have them selected and TC to return control to your player and TAI to keep the NPC in the air.
