2nd for blues are cucks

...

>playing my dragon character
>got Aldrich invaded by a dragonsis actually named "Dragonsis"
>she spent 20 minutes fighting off reds and purples and escorted me all the way to the boss fog

ara ara ashen one, are you trying to look under my skirt?

is there a weapon with a higher one handed DPS than lightning blade SSS

I'm new to Faith and Miracles.

So Faith boosts Lightning damage right?
What else does it boost?

What's the difference between a chime and a talisman?
What should I use for buffs like Blessed Weapon?
And what kind should I use for Lightning Spear?

I just heard Lobosjr is getting divorced as well. Is there a curse around Soulstubers that they end get getting cucked or their relationships destroyed? If so, I

The fire fades, in every relationship user..

...

You actually give a fuck about streamers?

>spent so much time on my level 30-40's
>start new character
>around level 53 now
>feel overlevel'd as fuck
How do 120's fags do it?

>name character after a character from a popular game/show/movie
>don't even attempt to look like said character

I know it shouldn't but this kind of annoys me.

>So Faith boosts Lightning damage right?
not... exactly... some casting tools' spellbuffs scale off faith, which make what you cast with it more effective, unless the spells don't have scaling like flat buffs (sacred oath, deep protection, carthus beacon, regen buffs).
>What else does it boost?
Some weapons also scale with faith. Some infusions make the weapon scale with faith.
>What's the difference between a chime and a talisman?
weapon art
>What should I use for buffs like Blessed Weapon?
blessed weapon is a flat 15% increase in physical ar, so the casting tool doesn't matter, however it excels on weapons with very high physical AR, such as greataxe/greatsword
>And what kind should I use for Lightning Spear?
depends what you want

I do hair color and eye color and call it a day. Character creation is way too ass to be bothered with anything else.

Except in DS3 where you can't even do proper hair colors.

damn

lobos was starting to receive a nice steady income and didn't want to share it with his gf which he apparently didn't like anymore so he dumped her.

Smart move tbqh, giving 50% of your income to someone you hate in a later divorce is not a pleasant experience

Faith buffs anything with Faith scaling. It's the 4th modifier after Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. If there's a letter there Faith will boost the damage in some way. Lightning Weapons and Blessed Weapons most notably.
Chimes and Talismans are mostly the same, but they have different weapon arts. Chimes have a really cheap (FP wise) regeneration effect that will go away if you switch it out for another weapon, and Talismans give you a big boost to poise for a few seconds after casting with it. Chimes are also generally more powerful for Faith builds in terms of damage, at least at high Faith levels. Generally Chimes are for caster focused characters and Talismans are for melee/hybrid types. Talisman's weapon arts make Faith good for PvP, though I prefer Chimes for invasions and the like since they're not as straight forward as duels are. The extra damage is nice. Also there's a chime that seems to at least double the AoE of your buffs/heals which is great for Co-Oping.
This is just personal speculation and it may be some sort of confirmation bias or Placebo effect on my mind but I feel like Chimes cast slightly slower. Because of the higher Spell Buff at high levels of Faith on Chimes, they're best for Lightning Weapon, but Blessed Weapon doesn't scale with Spell Buff last I checked so use whatever. Lightning Spear's best usage will depend again on if you're a mono-caster or melee/hybrid. Refer to that to know which to use.
Hopefully I'm not blatantly wrong on any of this, but this is how I understand it to be.

That's about how I felt the first time I got hit by exploding crossbow bolts through solid walls in Lothric Castle.

Yeah, that is close enough but the amount of jon snows and arya starks I've seen in this game that look nothing like them is off the charts.

The Drang set would make Jon cosplay super easy too...

I think I'm onto something here
>WA cast lightning arrow with talisman
>hold it
>just keep holding it
>if opponent does something that'll cause him to take a hit, release it
>if not keep holding it
>if he comes in to trade, release it & start mashing R1 with lightning blade SSS

Excatly, drang set, black hair, bastard sword. Done.

WHY DO AUTISTIC FIGHT CLUBS STILL EXIST?! GO TO THE DUEL ARENA YOU FUCKING FAGGOTS NOBODY LIKES YOU!

fight clubs are part of our culture, if you don't like it you can get out

Guess who she's (loosely) based on

Hmm what a novel idea nobody's ever done that before

I have seen people holding lightning arrow forever, but I haven't seem people using the lingering poise to trade with things like UGS and whatnot

I like how that's an edit of an edit.

The original Ben Garisson cartoon wasn't about Swedecuckistan.

If you don't like it you can black crystal, or try killing the host. But good luck against 3 phantoms, 2 dark/mad spirits, and 2 aldrich faithful all coming at you

I think it's safe to say Dark Souls 3 pvp has completely dropped the ball, and is officially the worst of the 3.

Miracle damage is dependent on your catalyst's Spell Buff stat which, if you're using a talisman or chime for miracles, typically scales off Faith.

Chimes as a catalyst group tend to have higher Spell Buff ratings. Yorshka's Chime, for example, has the highest Spell Buff of any miracle catalyst in the game. However, the Saint's Talisman is a close second.

The real difference between chimes and talismans are their respective (L2/R2) skills: Gentle Prayer and Unfaltering Prayer.

The Chime's Gentle Prayer restores HP over time, very similar to Replenishment. It's a nice source of healing for very little FP, making it good for early game PvE.

Talismans on the other hand have Unfaltering Prayer, which allows you to cast spells with a poise bonus, so your casts don't get interrupted by enemy attacks. As you might imagine, this is extremely useful for PvP, and has some PvE utility as well. Unfortunately, just how much poise you get isn't revealed to you in-game. Using Unfaltering Prayer with a Saint's Talisman will allow you to take about 1 hit with a straight sword; anything more or bigger will easily stagger you. The Sunlight Talisman has low spell buff, but its Unfaltering Prayer is rock solid, you're pretty much guaranteed to cast your spell unless you are outright killed.

Basically, chimes and talismans are situational. If you can safely cast from a distance, use whatever gives you the highest spell buff. If you need to shove a lightning stake in an invader's face while they r1 towards you, use a talisman.

...

Okay

...

Yennefer, right?

People still get soo fucking mad when you heal in duels (w/ miracles ofc). Two people in a row disconnected on me just now, haven't had this fun since release.

And that's a bingo. She's not meant to BE her, just kinda loosely based on her appearance.

>People get so mad when I pussy out and heal rather than fight them on equal footing
Shocking

don't ever say "that's a bingo" ever again thats not even what youre supposed to say it's just "bingo"
fuck

Oh, so you're one of those guys then. Hi! It's a faith build you know.

t.salty rage quitty

that's actually really good, post the sliders to the database

sliders please?

Do you even movie references, man?

See I get pissy when people sippy but if someone goes to the trouble of actually using miracles then it's fine.

My elementary school crush

So what exactly is the difference between normal bows and lightning arrow? How is lightning arrow better?

more damage, poisecast

What's her name?

Projectile is faster, infinite uses provided you have ashtus, does pure lightning damage, can be poisecast to fuck HA traders

That's a bingo. Roger over out

Your mom

>lighting arrow
an actually good offensive miracle miracle.

>normal bows
fairly shit unless using the xboxheuge one to knock people off shit or the xboxheuge slim to set traps.

lighting arrow is a faith Miracle that conjures a magic bow with a bolt of lightning drawn. unlike other offensive miracles, it can be held at the ready indefinitely; thus you can release it at an opportune moment, making it difficult for opponents to dodge

These are all the miracles in the game that don't provide direct healing, Stop being a bad player

Aww... That's so sweet.

>people get so mad when I pussy out and block rather than fight them on equal footing
>people get so mad when I pussy out and parry rather than fight them on equal footing
>people get so mad when I pussy out and hyperarmor rather than fight them on equal footing
>people get so mad when I pussy out and cast rather than fight them on equal footing

Wow get off it dude, with those fancy-dancy high speed underskirt tactics

You know, the thing that annoys me is when you get an invader, and they know they can't win. They just retreat back to the enemy spawns and wait for another invader. How to deal with this?

I agree, he should stop using something useful like a healing miracle and use Dead Again if he wants to be a truly skilled player like yourself I'm sure.

just food for thought... if you can't punish someone kneeling down to heal, maybe it is you who is the bad player. hope this helps

Thanks son

That would be worth saving if the second panel actually matched the first one.

>punishing projected heal
get that crossbow ready for punishing a 400 hp heal with a 150 damage bolt, if you can hit it

boohoo the invader isn't running into my gank squad however will I deal with this

Projected heal has the same cast time as Emit Force, with Sages ring. You can get a heal off using projected heal faster than the time it takes you drink an estus

I usually solo play the game though. I'm talking 1 on 1 son. Get your shit together.

You know, the thing that annoys me is when you get a host, and they know they can't win. They just retreat back to the bonfire and wait for another summon. How to deal with this?

If you do the Spears of the Church fight, can you still be summoned to be the boss via covenant?

literally no invader waits for backup unless he's against a gank squad with how fucked the invasion priority system is
he's waiting for you to move along and gank you with the mobs because why wouldn't he

>it's a assblasted red spirit episode

>the original post is literally a host complaining about reds running to enemies
>ooga booga assblasted reds

Are we watching re-runs? It's been playing for quite some time now

Lightning Arrow is my new favourite thing. It's best used for assblasting faggots who bow before duels.

>guy in arena uses homeward to backpedal all the way to firelink shrine
>have to chase him across convoluted space
Miraclefags in arena are the worst. Seek Guidance and Atonement users are also fags. Don't even get me started on people who use Dead Again.

Don't bother invading if you can't handle a single host of embers alone. It's just pathetic and sad.

>single host of embers alone
I'll take things that never happened for 500

>implying he has an obligation to fight you 1v1 in an honorable duel
If he wanted that, he would have put down a Red Sign. He's here to fuck with you and make your day worse, anything goes.

learn to read you dumb nigger

this helped me a lot thank you

I'm doing a dried finger solo run at the moment and I'm kind of disgusted by the amount of twinking and reds literally running away from me even though they have 7 full heals and my 8 estus don't heal a quarter of my health. Furry area has been nothing but disappointment so far. The only invader that actually gave me trouble was a hard twink at highwall with poison.

Need help at the prince and his twin.pc password 1234 ds3

Of course, any time. Now go out there and purge the wicked. Particularly dragonfags.

Damn, playing with a crossbow as a side weapon is fun. Why don't I see more people do this?

Pretty sure he posted the sliders to Imgur yesterday.

I know because I saved them.

POST
THEM

Sign down

yeah this is some grade A cancer
only counter I've found is running attacks that move a lot forward, so they can sort of run past you as they do the running attack, which makes lightning arrow miss

kek proj heal really drives people fucking mad in the arena

>playing in the arena ever
Did you fags learn nothing from DS2?

the arena was fucking fantastic before spinny sword parrying became a thing

>summoned for spear fight
>wait for him to get locked into any animation
>shoot him with a lightning arrow he can't avoid
>the only way to stop it is to kill me
>i have tears and projected heal and -30% equip weight

What's the ultimate shitter build in ds3 right now?

>-30% equip weight
>negative weight
*SWEAT*

fuck i forgot - and < aren't the same

twin greatswords and turn your lag switch on
otherwise 40/40 gael's greatsword

The order is all out of whack because Imgur was being a shit and I can't be arsed to rearrange them.

40 dex
40 strength
60 faith
18 att
talisman/sunlight talisman
sunlight straight sword
lightning arrow
lightning blade
projected heal
then do
