Depends on your enemy or strategy.
Sometimes you wanna max out chronos on champs like Snek Man to become a healbot, sometimes you want to rush caut to delet that enemy Ying, and sometimes you can just buy whatever you like. I would be in favor of maxing though.

5v5, characters are divided into frontliners (tanks), damage, flankers (assassin-types), and support (healers). You can customize the way characters work with a hand of five cards and a special "legendary" card. Over the course of a match, you earn credits to buy items that improve your performance in various ways. Game modes include Siege (starts as King of the Hill, spawns a cart when you cap), Payload (take turns trying to push the cart furthest in the least time), and Survival (last team standing wins). You spawn on a horse every life to minimize the time you spend getting back into the fight, but it vanishes when you're hit or you fire. You also regenerate when you've been out of combat long enough (no using your primary weapon or taking damage). Characters have to be unlocked via gold or premium crystals (unless you buy a founder's pack), cards have to be unlocked via "essence".

It's pretty fun.

I'm getting really tired of reruns

I now have a game where people kept shit talking me being a Bad Seris under my belt. Funny thing is, not only were all of them were 500+ elo below me despite playing 100+ more hours than me, they also almost never won with the heroes they picked for that match.

How does that even work? I've known people who started at 1k in dota who after alot of games eventually reach 3k through luck and picking up enough skills to win more often than not. That doesn't seem to be the case for alot of players I end up with no matter what time of day I que for a match.

People in general are completely oblivious to anything not in their line of sight. That combined with needing to actually aim leaves some people shitters no matter what, compared to a moba where eventually they'll learn their script to play each match and are at least functional bot people.

Most people aren't even fully aware of how bad they are, be it through inexperience or just being young/retarded.

The only time I've ever been shit talked in this game is by the random 1500~ guy who is partying with her not shit buddy. I love it when you play perfectly for most of a game, make one mistake and they lose their shit. They'll stand there and type as the game is playing to tell you you're bad while you play a man down. Its comical.
