A lot of the crossover and SUV market is middle class households making 70 to 150 a year that have shoestring budgets because of overinflated vehicle and home payments. An extra 30 dollars a week in gas compounded by price hikes on all consumer goods when transportation costs skyrocket will break those households today just like it did 12 years ago.
