Why not Desperation? With a Hone Cav and Goad, that's 44 Spd.

Food might be my least favourite mechanic in Echoes so far, you can't buy it and as far as I could tell the only thing you spend money on is forging. You find food all over the place in towns and in boxes in dungeons.

Its a nearly pointless mechanic. You can use it in battle to heal, but with only one item slot theres no real reason to have food equipped instead of a weapon or a ring, so by the time you can get a weapon for every unit you no longer will be equipping food and can just heal via rings/forts/ healers. That leaves its only other use: recovering fatigue. I have already discussed a few times how utterly insignificant fatigue is in Echoes. It might as well not be in the game its so pointless, and by extension food as a means of curing fatigue is pretty pointless as well. You can give them their favorite foods to…make them smile bigger (not sure the exact name for it because japanese but it basically means they will go even longer before getting fatigued again) but youll have such a massive stockpile of food that you dont really need to know their favorites.

The most meaningful contribution food has on the Echoes experience is in learning the food likes and dislikes of every character if you find that sort of characterization charming.

Hector is leagues about any other Green and is one of, if not, the strongest single unit at this point.
Having -Atk is really bad, but at lest he has +spd.
You could give him Desperation 3 and Darting Blow 3 to focus on his speed then.

Even if you don't, he'll still be useful af.

You'd probably want to keep fishing for deathblow in that case to get the extra attack since her speed should be good. Also if you want to use that Hana you have there's a discussion at the end of last thread that has info.

This is my team so far and the other units above three that I have. I got two odins, so thinking of getting those two to four stars, and giving their moonbow to my leader and one other.

No. I'm telling you that the four (4) point bonus in atk wasn't worth wasting 20k feathers. You could've had Ursula and Xander both 5*, while still having Ursula nuke everything she fights.

I have lots of Gunthers around, so I can afford to pass one to Xander unless you think there's a better target. My cavs are Cecilia/Xander/Ursula/Jeigan (until Camus comes along). I only have 1 Jeigan though.

That's pretty much one of the best teams you can have if you're not going for Cav degeneracy.

Don't waste Odin's for moonbow.
Odin is the only one that has Blarblade+, the strongest Tome.

Save him for when you get a good Mage to inherit it to.

I run with Xander as the Hone buffer and Cecilia as the Fortify buffer. Do what you think would benefit you more.
