Can we praise Crush 40 for the billionth time? Their music made some of my favorite final boss experiences in gaming, from Perfect Chaos to Metal Overlord. Hell I think Time Eater would have been a hundred times more bearable if there was a unique Crush 40 song for the fight. Is there no chance of seeing them work on a Sonic again?

Do you like Crush 40? Their early work was a little too dad rock for my tastes, but when Live & Learn came out in '01, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole song has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the song a big boost2win. He's been compared to Richard Jacques, but I think Johnny has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '05, Johnny released this, 'Best Crush 40 Song', their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "What I'm Made of...", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of proving you're number, and the importance of showing your own strength, it's also a personal statement about the band itself. Finally got around to finishing SA2, because for some reason I'm late as fuck (was always a strictly Playstation guy).
I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Sonic and Shadow stages are great fun, Tails and Eggman shooting stages were somehow really fun as well. Hell, I even liked the Emerald Hunts (still my least favorite style, but I enjoyed them playing through the story - Mad Space is a bitch). They really tried to make it worth your time too, since the entire story is pretty long, and then there's even the boss rushes and the tons of sidemissions. I really appreciate the sidestuff like that, especially the Chao Garden which has an asston of depth.
The story was also seriously good. A little cheesy at times in part due to the varying quality of the voice acting and cutscenes, but it was genuinely interesting to see how everything unfolded with the two storylines.
This is very superficial but I really love how each playstyle had its own musical style too, with the high speed rock music for the speed levels, the weird synth-y rock for the shooting segments, and the jazz/rap for the emerald hunts. It's still rather flawed in some areas but I really see why people love it now.

Next up is Heroes - prepare to be underwhelmed and perhaps even terribly dissapointed.
Believe it or not, I played Heroes long before now. I grew up on Playstation as I said, so it was actually my first 3D Sonic entry and currently my second favorite. Even with the buggy-ass PS2 port it was actually a shitload of fun, albeit very wonky at times. From here I think I'll finally get around to playing Unleashed, really.
And where's these damn chaos emeralds.

Yea, but I fucked that up a long time ago, and I don't have my Wii anymore so I can't nab Secret Rings/Black Knight (shame, I've heard awesome things about Black Knight). I guess I should emulate and beat Colors however.
Why do you guys attract the worst of society? losers,freaks and perverts. The losers whine about every game, the freaks like Chris-Chan and Sonic Passion goers and the perverts who keep spamming these threads, /trash/ and /v/ with Rouge the bat porn and more. It's weird. I haven't met a single well adjusted Sonic fan. They always fall into one of those three sets.
I was expecting a Veeky Forums styled "bait, swear & flame" but it was pretty decent.

You've evidently never met the right people though. I've met plenty of Sonic fans who are well-adjusted. The messed up people stand out more, because those who are content and happy with themselves don't need to shout because they don't have an intense desire to be heard by others. It's simple stuff, the Sonic fandom is not 100% bad, but there is more "bad" than other fandoms just because it's huge. There'll be an influx of both good folk and bad folk, but the bad folk are also the loudest in the room. It's just how it is. When you walk into a room, the quiet ones aren't who stand out. Meet some decent people, it's far from impossible.
She remains the most broken character in every game she's playable in, Riders, she'll fly the entire stage, chronicles, you'll never run out of health and mp, advance series, the bosses can't touch you. Battle, you'll have your hp back along with a one hit ko all set after 4 attacks and blocks. Cream is broken

Good to hear, I've heard from some that the only way anyone could like the Adventure games is if they grew up with them, nice to see someone who played it with fresh eyes found it enjoyable.
Sonic was always cheesy, but I would rather have the B movie style of dreamcast sonic than the 2edgy4u serious of shadow the hedgehog/sonic 06 or the overly silly of modern sonic.

You have curves if you hide it, but if you're nude you're a shapeless blob. The dress is the only reason she's allowed to have any curves at all. Like Bugs Bunny.
Not only that, it also features original physics from Genesis games, 5 playable characters with different abilities and even special stages.
Boost formula didn't exist when Advance games were new, and even so, they do better at managing the Boost formula than the newer Sonic games. The only bad thing is the boring way to get to the special stages.

That's because you're constantly running, since it's the main attraction of the game. You never stopped since its level design was designed for you to run always.
But it's true. The Advance games actually at least have most of Genesis physics and engine.
