Koihime Enbu

Gets beat hard in neutral by many characters, resulting in some incredibly awful matchups. She needs Heat Up to actually continue her pressure, and to do that she needs to basically choose between it and actually committing to her offense. Honestly her playstyle is just straight-up not made for this game.

I have to agree with this user's sage advice. I played a character because they looked nice, but they are shit in the grand scale of things. Tried doing a labor of love to make it work out but it just was a fucking pain in the ass because I was fighting two things.

Then play some more to find someone you like. I really can't recommend anything because it's a personal choice with how different each character plays along with their chains and setups. Whoever you do the most damage with might be your best bet because you're only a few combos away from sealing the deal with some practice. Can't go wrong with Faust or Slayer of those listed imo

Thoughts on Seimitsu parts compared to Sanwa?

Thinking about switching the Sanwa parts in my TE2+ to Seimitsu. Gonna try a LS-56-01 for the stick and PS-14-G for the buttons. Are these parts gonna be a straight drop in with the TE2+? Namely asking for the wiring harness for the LS-56-01.

Well, reason I'm only decent with potemkin is that I'm shit at executions but better at situation reading.

Faust defense is very hard, even harder than potemkin since his moves are so slow and closest thing to a reversal is his dust.

Slayer, kinda same and everything I struggle as potemkin, he struggles as well.

I would love Raven, if it weren't for the fact that he can't airdash out of corners at all.

What beyond fafnir corner carry combo and corner pressure combo do I need to master? I only see sol players do those two online.

Play sol. not only do you have the DP to get out of nasty situations, but your entire game plan is to force your opponent into blocking and opening them up with a command grab and shit out damage

you can learn the midscreen 6P>5H>IAD stuff for carry, in rev2 you'll get to j.D>air revolver for carry and knockdown too. 6P/6H CH>BB confirm is important too. 2D CH>GF>5H>IAD though you can't confirm to GF

It surprises me that Koihime is not more popular with people. The game is easy to pick up and neutral focused. The VNs/games were enjoyable too.

Faust is good for reading situations as well. You try to throw as much on screen as you can and react to what comes out. Defense and his slow normals can be frustrating but that's probably a symptom of a greater cause which is don't put yourself in the corner.

Maybe try Sol or Ky too if you need wakeup dp. I hated how they played until I learned the game enough to realize what I was missing the last time I played them and from playing others who used them online.

I don't see how it's any different than people who jack it to murder/violence or people who jack it to rape. But I'm not a lawyer anyway.

That's reasonable price for it going by how the game is. The only fault I see is that there is little chance of newcomers to fighting games paying $40 for the kind of aesthetic it has going for it. It's a shame because I think it is a perfect game for people that want to worry less about execution and combos, with the focus on spacing along with good use of normals instead.
