Yes. Even the bugs are a part of the legitimate experience. After all, Daggerfall's many homogeneous regions and kingdoms and unreasonably large quantity of abandoned fortresses were canonized in the Pocket Guide, and Redguard's glitchy water and land at the map edges were canonized in the 36 Sermons. The diffuse textures on LL are just a desaturated True Daughters. Desaturate some textures you like in Gimp or something and replace just the diffuses.

I finally took the plunge and installed Oblivion after having it in my Steam library for years.

And guess what...

Yep. I was really curious to know what all the fuss was about Oblivion a few years back, and Skyrim more recently. I kept seeing meme pictures and people talking about stuff from the games, on every website possible. And everyone going nuts with the mods and replayability of the game...

Well, when I ran Oblivion, I saw that these people were nothing more than hyped up sheep, because the game SUCKS so bad. I must admit, the first dungeon part was quite interesting, and seeing the light out of the sewer at the end was cool...

But the rest?

Shitty dialogues, poor item diversity, boring enemies, boring spells, etc. There was nothing good about the game, and it felt like a console game made for dumb fucks playing with a controller.

I wanted to enjoy a good "role play" game, and all I got was a highly repetitive piece of junk that was falsly marketed as a good game by a bunch of fan boys praising everything that has been thrown to them.

The worst of all, is that I thought Skyrim would be a good game, so I got it on a flash sale on Steam for around 20 bucks. It contains all the DLCs, but I don't care, since I won't be installing it anytime soon.

Why are you guys so hyped up about all these shitty games? You have nothing else to play while waiting for the yearly cod to come out?
