Because that is like Bellona with Frost bound hammer hitting at you from the distance with a hammer constantly being on movement speed steroid from shield of regrowth!

But Poseidon doesn't have nearly as much utility and mobility as Bellona. His only strengths are his whirlpool and kraken, and the only way he can capitalize on those strengths is to build iso for slows/ticks/ult setup.
If it's really an issue, you could always buy Winged blade to deny him the slow.

DT boots start with pots and TP or sunder if you are feeling extra memey
make sure you spam your 1 a a few times in fountain before you even leave base to get your passive going
get to lane, with DR from your passive and just being a general dickhole, poke enemy with 1 and slap them cause they are a faggot compared to you
wave comes, clear that shit with your free cleave autos, then dick the other solo with your 1 and autos. enjoy massive sustain from hitting three minions at once with half your autos.

Because heals are pretty good. Hel is pretty decent in this meta but she tend to end up inviting dangerous enemy picks.

It burst heal herself and it's still good as a dot. Dots can used pro actively to heal allies and save time mid fight to use other skills.
