How does parrying on a boss work? I've had it happen a few times, but usually I just get a stun without the sound or animation to riposte.
Fought Vicar Amelia for the first time and it happened twice, but usually she just clutched her side.

Large bosses get 'parried' if you smack their head, or sometimes their legs
When you hear the noise, sprint to their face for a visceral

That's not Parry, more like stagger after a certain weak spot has been damaged enough

Amelia's head, amygdala head, even abhorrent beast head

For bigger, non human bosses you can break limbs to increase damage until they heal the wounds and if you damage the head enough you can visceral them.

No, you can. Use a gun or hunter tool that shoots projectiles like black sky eye. Provided they do enough damage, of course. Cleric beast staggers after 3 headshots

So is it possible to gift weapons in bb? I would really love to make a run with the HMS or the Kos parasyte, too bad they are so late in the game.

So how exactly does downscaling work? Is it a set percentage or some flat damage nerf or what? I can't seem to find anything solid about it.

If you deal enough damage to a certain member said member will take more damage for a while, when that happens they will stagger. Only the head will open a visceral though.

Maybe I should just start doing what everyone else does and join the co op without announcing it here
