How is league any better?
I asked a friend of mine about it and some of the things he explained to me sound tedious as fuck and in some ways like pure cancer.
The fact that you need to land the killing blow to get XP sounds pretty unfun, and the fact that you don't share XP with the whole teams seems like a perfect recipe for infighting in a genre that is already pretty fucking prone to infighting.

It's a teambased objective game if everyone is trying their hardest to lose its not very simple to win.

The fact that Medivh is completely balanced around Master's Touch is kinda bullshit and the reason he has a 36% winrate.

Aba helps passively push lanes and has decent power on hat abilities. He also helps stay ahead in Experience and if he goes Monstrosity forces at least one person to go deal with it or lose a tower. And of course doubling someone like Valla or Kael can really put the hurt on in team fights.

In other words, play with better Abathurs and you will appreciate him more.

The list goes on and on, league is more enjoyable every second in game compared to hots. There isn't very many satisfying mechanics in hots and losing lane, soak, and merc camps is a lot more tedious to deal with than anything in league.

There's almost no reason to take Triple tap. It gets blocked by nearly everything.

They literally ran into the enemy base thinking it was a good idea when most of them were low. I didn't stay super long to figure out what was about to happen. It just makes no sense we had an easy win but we threw it away for worthless kill.

Not to mention all the maps and learning how to macro them is actually insane for a "casual" moba most people claim it is.

Ah but you're forgetting one very important aspect of League. The forced meta and Riot's INSISTENCE you play a hero a certain way. It always feels like every game plays the same way.
