You literally can't defend Spa track design

you literally can't defend Spa track design
>someone goes wide and crashes on eau rouge
>full course yellow for 15-20min
>green flag
>3 minutes later some baka crashes again at eau rouge
>20 minutes of safety car again
>repeat until 24 hours have passed

wow so interesting

Crashes are the best part

>crazy high speed uphill corner is track signature
>no other circuit has a similar construction
>somehow you're surpised people crash there

what do you want every track to just be 4 90 degree corners like Indy?

G I T
U
D

>drivers crash
>track's fault
yeah they should install safety systems on racecars too

attacking spa track design. talks about racing.

are you retarded?

i'd love to drive spa
but this race is 24h of FCY

We just need those forcefield barriers they use in racing games so they can clean up wrecks without cautions.

This

This.

>drivers fuck up and crash
>"THIS TRACK SUCKS!"

Literally the new F1 mindset.

no user you see, it's never the human's fault
its why they should install every single safety system they can on racecars.
maybe get a lane helper or two

its definitely not an entitled prick thinking he cant be wrong. as i said previously, humans cant be wrong. only tracks and robots.

safety on cars is A-ok

Safety on track borders is fine too.

But when you complain about the layout because of safety you fucked up. The best tracks have always been the most dangerous. Adelaide, Nurburg, monaco, spa, etc.

spa is such a boring piece of shit track
>huge ass straight
>90º sweeper
>huge ass straight
>90º sweeper
>huge ass straight
>180º sweeper
>huge ass straight
>one single uphill kink
>huge ass straight
almost as bad as road america

Road America is a decent track, I'd rather race at road Atlanta desu.

>medium ass straight
>nearly 180 degree
>huge ass straight
>chicane going upwards then downards during a curve
>long ass straight
>chicane
>turn right
>turn right
>turn right
>squared 2 turns left that count as one
>turn right
>straight
>very narrow chicane
>finish

You can count every track in the world like that. Spa is not boring.

Yeah altanta might be bumpy but i like the design. Simplistic yet effective

Road atlanta is a great track, but it you look at it outside of videogames, i start seeing what ecclestone means about facilities.
lol you tried to make a point but you made that sound exciting as fuck.

>but you made that sound exciting as fuck.
Because that's what i wanted to do.

Almost every track is exciting or not if you consider them the same based on turns.

Its not just that, its the mix of everything, its the distance between track and wall, its the runoff distance and where, its the layout of the runoff area in each turn, its the change in road, its the elevation change and even the place of the grandstands.

You cannot simplify how boring or fun a track is based on description

the best is always the most unsafe.
its why most modern cars are heavy overweight garbage. its why 80's is the best era for cars. engineering and combustion engines were starting to get big power numbers. turbos started getting tons of usage. but there were no restrictions
rip 2 strokes, you will be missed.

Monza, which killed Senna due to the long straight. That was altered with a chicane to slow the cars down.

The main issue is the constant safety car usage that uses up racing laps. They get more ad visibility from it, so they leave it out way too long.

>Monza, which killed Senna
riiight

>Monza, which killed Senna due to the long straight

>Monza, which killed Senna due to the long straight.
