ATVs are literally only justifiable in use of agriculture to pull trailers.

If you do not work in agriculture, a dirt bike is superior in every way. Only a retarded hick too dumb to learn to ride a dirt bike well would buy an ATV.

atvs and dirtbike are both fun to ride trails or just fly down the road

I grew up riding quads and dirt bikes. This was mainly on private property and I had a preference for quads because it's a lot easier to go fast on one.

Now that I'm older I prefer dirt bikes because:
>can ride legally on street in states that aren't retarded
>access to all trails
>can handle any trail if you have the skill
>require skill to ride which you can improve upon with practice
>don't destroy trails
>don't need a fucking trailer to transport more than one

Now that I live in a state that isn't retarded and ride all public trails, I hate quads. Mostly because ATV and UTV riders are fucking assholes. They

>rip the shit out of trails
>ride way too fast around blind turns
>drink and ride
>take up ALL of the trail

Dirt bikes are faster and statistically safer so there's no reason to own an ATV.

I use to have a crf250r honestly I felt safer on quads. a 450 bike will be faster but the quad wouldn't be far behind. also it seems like quads are more durable could just be me.

I used to but dirt bikes are far superior for running away from police and better on trails because they aren't as wide. You can do nice skids on an atv but they just aren't for me.

I also feel it's easier to ride a dirt bike around the city than a quad.

You don't want a quad to be durable when you flip and it breaks your neck.

Seriously look it up, quads have a higher fatality rate because they tend to hit the rider if it flips, while dirt bikes you just fall off.

First quad I rode I flipped going down a hill it but it was so small I basically just stood up and let it fall over between my legs. Good fun.

The big modern fancy powerful ones are fun, too, but maybe I'm just a sucker for the pure thrill of riding a weed whacker with a steering wheel.

Once your balls drop the only correct answer is dirt bike.

I'm sure they're fun, but their high CoG and short wheelbase creeps me the fuck out.

CoG isn't that bad in the smaller ones because it's light enough that you can lean around. It's fun once you get used to it.
