Ok, I posted in the previous thread that I'd buy kof XIV if my laptop can handle it, but it can't I'll buy a ps4 since they seem to be cheaper now. The question is, what stick would be a good choice to play kof xiv? the only thing I know about them is that Hori is pretty good, but I'd like to hear some thoughts about them.
I remember buying pic related and I got so frustrated that I stopped using it in less than a week because it was terrible.

As much as I dislike Kyo >implying all his fighting abilities come from muh special flames He's had to train his body, mind and spirit to some degree at some point. Since he's also from a somewhat prestigious family I'm sure Saisyu had him so some of that shit as part of his training. Can't be a strong warrior without training your mind body and spirit or some asian bullshit like that. Chances are he did something like that too after Goenitz beat his ass and he realized he needed to changed the way he fights. Saying that this is akin to a huge departure from Kyo is like Terry being shown as angry and then saying that's not Terry because he's normally chill as fuck. Keeping Kyo a cocky/confident asshole all the time would really make him one dimensional and as shown time and time again in all sorts of media just being that usually gets your ass beat.
If you're looking for cheaper I guess there's the 4Kai wich costs 50 burgers less. They're both PS3/4 and PC compatible.

Yeah, some sticks can get pretty high up there.There's cheaper options out there, but quality will vary. I think on ebay you can find the 4kai for even cheaper, but the downside is it'd probably be used and you'd have to make sure that it's working as it should.

Any stick that you're comfortable with, I'd recommend the TES+ as a good all around stick that's easy to mod/upgrade that sits at the bottom of the high end spectrum of sticks. TE2 is an all around better stick with better parts and even easier to mod case but if you're going to spend any time just banging around TES+ is a better investment.
I never owned a Qanba because I never liked the case design and I only owned a crappy defective Hori so I just stick to Madcatz. Which is rather hard to do now....
I wouldn't recommend the drone or the alpha mini because they're so lightweight and small if you're not used to sticks it'll just make it more difficult.

There was a similar pic floating around and it was from that part of the KoFW part conference that people thought referred to XIV. Chances are that it was a mistake. Also those rumors in those comments IIRC first came from that yuki yagami person in the past (as did the mary taunting) as a theory. I don't think Mui Mui will be replaced in the future since the rights to dragon gal were not given up and neither were Alice's. The only one who would be replaced in a future KoF for both irl (another company licensed her and her pachi stuff) and story reasons (she waned to fuck off back to her world) would be Love. Love might get replaced in a future KoF, but it's a bit too far fetched that they would do that in for XIV. As for the pic itself it does refer to XIV since its chinese title is right there. The whole Chizuru being there I would sooner chalk it up to a mistake rather than foreshadowing to be safe since I don't like raising my nor other people's hopes. Had they DLC planned at this moment they might've announced it at the conference and if they did they'd probably be silhouetted like the first batch. I don't think SNK themselves would let something easily slip especially since the devs got pissed that Rock was leaked. Cizuru could always appear in a future KoF, but if we recall story reasons she's retired from fighting. Also XIV style icons/portraits were also being used for past KoFW teasers. This is not the first time that one Chizuru icon has appeared.

Shit, I might've made a mistake on the source of those rumors, I still wouldn trust them as Alice's rights/license have not been given up the ones that were were Love Hearts and some other pachislot that that was not dragon gal as they still appeared in a list of SNK's IPs at the time in which the licensing agreement was announced. I would take rumors as just that unless leaked from chinese sources.
